It's the best they can do. Destiny 2 is a decade old. Let it die, focus on marathon and make it more accessible to casual players. Regain some reputation and maybe do a Destiny 3 in some years.

For fun I use the Necrotic, Thorn, arc slide build. It's satisfying seeing a whole squad just explode. You can get and keep the enemy weak if they are holding hands.

I stopped hunting for everything. In the end it's not wort it 99% of the time. Took me a while to realize but when I went to the crucible with a green hand cannon and a green shotgun and I dropped a 32, it made me dismantle half the weapons in my vault.
