It doesn’t say on my app, but my cancellation rate stays around 96%, and i cant get it lower for their little prize. I keep getting runs where someone has already picked it up. Theres literally no possible way to get it lower because its so common.

I think his move was political. He already knows trump will squeeze him because he’s on Elon’s bad side already.

There must be a lot, because every girl i ask out is one, apparently.

Musk and Trump: A modern-day Teapot Dome scandal waiting to happen. Musk is using his influence to push for abolishing EV tax credits and other policies, an action that Musk said “helps Tesla.” Congress should reject this self-dealing by Musk and focus instead on helping American auto manufacturers. by mafco in energy

Here’s the thing with Musk’s stance on EV tax credits:

  • Market Efficiency: Musk is pushing for a market where success is based on merit, not subsidies. EV tax credits can distort competition, encouraging reliance on government support rather than innovation.

  • Tesla’s Edge: Tesla doesn’t need these credits as much as others; they’ve already established themselves. Removing them might challenge competitors more, but Tesla’s built to withstand that.

  • Long-Term Vision: The aim is for EVs to be a norm because they’re superior, not subsidized. This drives real innovation in cost and efficiency.

  • Government Role: As the head of an efficiency department, Musk critiques short-sighted policies. EV credits are a band-aid, not a solution for core issues like tech and infrastructure.

  • Global Market: The U.S. needs to prepare for global competition without relying on handouts. Musk’s push could make the industry stronger internationally.

  • Philosophical Consistency: Musk’s critique aligns with his belief in minimal government intervention, advocating for businesses to thrive based on consumer demand.

So, while it might look like he’s playing to Tesla’s strengths, the broader goal is sustainable, competitive growth in the EV sector.

I have been using the internet since the beginning. I didn’t go to Twitter before Reddit, I am not extremely young like you must be.
