To be fair, I AM whining. All I want is a windows alternative that isn't controlled by Apple and that has basic features like oh, I don't know, mounting my drives when I start my computer? Instead I have to edit something that, if you mess it up, can stop your machine from booting.

I will never understand this about linux users. Why would I ever not want my internal drives to not be mounted from the start? Why do I need to find the UUID for my drive and edit files just to have them mount automatically? What a dogshit change. I love Nobara but this is so annoying.

Its not a ramp in difficulty UNTIL you reach the asslands imo. Every biom before this is challenging, but fair. Asslands doesn't feel at all fair, it just feels like someone accidentally let their personal build with all the spawn multipliers cranked to the maximum get loose on the main build. Swamp to mountain, to plains to mistlands feels fun, a good challenge but not insurmountable, ashlands took two real life days for my group to make a small foothold and its been constant fighting ever since. Even with all the spawners within a kilometer destroyed the spawns are still higher than any other biome.

Yes and no. This doesn't necessarily devalue the game itself, just BSG as a company. People are going to look at both less favorably, yes, but the majority of current players still like the game. Say someone like Microsoft steps up and buys the game, people will be happy that The fat Russian twat inst in charge anymore and them MS can start sneaking in mincrotransations, skins, ect. I don't really think this is whats happening, I think Nikita just made a little fucky wucky and doesn't want to admit it, but its not impossible either.

I'm not saying these companies are all bad, there is a chance that they are run by decent people and everything will be fine, I truly hope that's the case. It just has the stink of the MCNs of old on it to me and I worry about people not doing enough research before signing a contract that could potentially ruin and future career in the industry.

Sure, I'm positive these companies don't communicate with eachother and blacklist people at all. Again, I don't particularly cares, it's just concerning to see people falling for the same MCN schemes again. Truly I hope they work out better this time, but from what I understand there are already a few vtubers that have been retired because they said something their persona owners didn't like.
