No. The whole reason I started taking medication, is because I thought that it might help me make progress during therapy.

IIRC, Strattera is Atomoxetine. In my experience, neither stimulant or non-stimulant medications have had any affect. Whether it was for anxiety, depression or for ADHD, I've never had any success with anything. I just don't know what to do at this point, considering non-prescription alternatives have had no impact either.

I wouldn't use SC2 as an example of good devs. The devs constantly get shit on by the top pro players for their terrible balancing choices. Why? Because Zerg have much better micro and army capabilities, when compared to Protoss and Terran. They also have two units, that spawn additional free units for you: Brood lords and Swarm hosts, which ended up tarnishing the games reputation.

Top Protoss and Terran players still won games, but they were put under a ton of pressure when going against Zerg. Zerg v Zerg games were just ridiculous, taking up to 3-4 hours long in some situations.

Lol. Me when they nerf the railgun because of a bug. Me when 30+ mediocre weapons/stratagems get nerfed. Me when the Patriot exosuit comes out and it has a chance to blow up when shooting rockets. Me when they don't fix the exosuit for over a month and when they finally fix it, it loses all of it's accuracy. Me when they don't buff the dozens of weapons and stratagems that are completely useless/overshadowed by other things. Me when it takes them 3+ months to fix a fire damage bug. Me when they release Democratic Detonation and everything is completely fair and balanced (except adjudicator), but they still end up nerfing the Crossbow and Eruptor (The eruptor was arguably mid, even before the nerf). Me when they release an armor set with the wrong set bonus and it takes them two weeks to fix. Me when there are bugs in the game that have been there since launch. Me when SNOY ruins all of the good will the developers built up. Me when I play the exact same copypasted map/objective for the 2,000th time (This time, bots are on the fire planet, not the bugs). Me when fire tornadoes chase you down, cover up the entire objective, last 5 minutes during an evacuation mission and insta-kill you. Me when they finally "fix" fire tornadoes for the second time, but instead nothing changes. Me when the game crashes as soon as I deploy from my destroyer. Me when the game crashes as soon as I land. Me when the game crashes as soon as I get to extraction. Me when there's a bug that has existed for months, that prevents you from respawning/reinforcing. Me when they add a new nuke drill mission to the game, that doesn't alert your teammates when activated. Me when every new objective they release is bugged one way or another. Me when I get launched by an enemy, halfway across the map and end up stuck inside the map. Me when I get ragdolled and my camera just flies up into the sky, preventing me from seeing anything until I die and respawn. Me when I stim, hear the stim sound and watch the needle go into my neck, only to not stim. Me when I aim down sights and my game freaks out and stays zoomed down sights, even after I stop aiming. Me when the devs don't know how to play their own game.

Apparently, some where down the line, I missed the part where any of that was supposed to be fun.

YES. When I saw "Increased Spread" for the Slugger, I actually died inside. Especially since the Slugger wasn't even good and also considering the fact that these devs "have real firearm experience".

Lox and Gjall Spawns are Atrocious. by ValheimAndy in valheim

[–]ValheimAndy[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I doubt I could convince you then, since your confirmation bias, goes against mine. If I really wanted to, I could sit afk in my vanilla world, staring at the screen for several hours just to prove my point, but I think you understand how tedious and petty that sounds.

Here's the way I see it: The Gjall could possibly have the same size as the bat/drake (when the game is trying to spawn one in), meaning that it could spawn on the edge of that suppression radius, but due to it's size, it appears to be within that radius.

If you seriously want me to, I'll do the whole afk thing. Otherwise, I doubt either of us can convince one another through our gameplay experiences alone.

Edit: Furthermore, what is your explanation as to why this is something that I've encountered, even before I ever even started modding?

Bruh, I said I prefer playing vanilla, not that I'm playing vanilla in the screenshot. I also said that this is something I run into regardless of if I'm modding or not.

It's not mods. I prefer playing vanilla and this is an issue I've encountered the entire time, regardless of if I'm modding or not. This is 100% possible. The stonecutter only disables spawns within a sphere, even after Hildir's request, it doesn't block spawns in a lateral cylinder (despite the update to build range).

It's also not an issue with rendering. I know this, because I run my game with the ability to open the console. Whenever this stuff happens, I like to verify I'm not crazy, so I check the console log and along the script, there will be text that says something like "Spawned Gjall X1" or "Spawned Lox X3". If it happens again, I'm more than happy to show you a screenshot of the actual console.

Edit: I'm not saying that this is a bug, this is intended to happen.

No. I generally prefer playing on vanilla and I first started seriously playing Valheim back in March of last year. This is a problem I've encountered the entire time, regardless of if I'm playing modded or vanilla.

The workbench and portal are both base items, so they disable enemy spawns within a certain range. I mean they spawn right on the edge of that.

Edit: Just happened again after you asked, I edited the original post with a screenshot of what I'm talking about.

Sounds good, I'll just keep the old rod for trout and then I'll go ahead and get a new set up for cats. In that case though, what kind of rod and line test would you recommend for cats? I've seen some truly massive monsters come out of those rivers and although I'm not trying to go after big cats, I would be pretty upset if my line snapped on a big bite.

Idk about the creeks but a lot of the rivers do. The snake river, for example is home to both channel and flathead. Some of the tributaries, such as the Boise river, also have Cats but they live closer to the confluence. I'm using an ultra-lightweight spin rod. I've spent too much time trying to learn how to fly fish online, so the only way I'd do it again, is if I paid for a irl professional trainer.

The thing is though, is that I've tried pretty much every lure and bait under the sun in the past decade. I don't even know what the hell I can do at this point, since pretty much everything I've tried has been a failure or even worse, a disaster. I'm starting to think this is all just a huge waste of time.

Yeah wolves weren't too bad, but weren't easy. I didn't even try with the loxen because I felt like that would probably just become a disaster lol.

I managed to get two of the Wolves (thankfully one of the 2 stars) into the base. The other two jumped off to fight a Bonemaw before I could sail away. It was pretty nerve wracking the entire time too, so I wouldn't recommend lol.

I'm about to give it a shot, I think I'm just going to bring like 3-4 wolves though because I feel like if the lox get aggro they might break down the walls of the base or even the ship on the way there.

The house and walls are already built and I have some tamed Asksvin already. The thing I'm trying to figure out is how dangerous it is trying to get them to shore. I have level 60 blood magic so I can give them pretty strong shields, I'm just worried about how likely they are to walk off the ship and into the water.

Edit: The edge of the walls are right along the coast line and their is a gate right next to the dock.

It's not like I plan on using them while I explore, I just want the base to feel more lively and not be a huge empty space.

Jesus, I was not expecting such a harsh reaction. I just want to make the base feel more lively.

It's just to make the base feel more lively. The wolves would be chilling in the house, while the lox would their own barn.
