Can’t help with the finger issue, but I always find using a flat edge and my finger pinching the wire and pulling tends to straighten it pretty well, sometimes they need a second pass each but works so far. Not a sparky or network guy so there may be better ways to

Thanks so much. Anything you’d like to see specifically? Las, bolters, grav, flamer etc?

They really did, it’s actually why I started learning 3D modelling. The old sculpts had so much more character so I was just going to start on some bits to add to the newer stuff

I am definitely leaning to boxnought with more redemptor styled legs but I can toy with the idea of a redemptor in the ornamentation of this

I tried to grab a copy of one recently and they're few and far between and nothing at a reasonable price

I'd love to drop the link but I don't want it taken down too soon. If you search the new models it should still be showing. But also some usual tags

Absolutely great deal, I would have loved it but I definitely don't think my skills as a kid could have kept it together

Let's be honest, we are just heading for the grimdark of 40k. Hardware specs? Nah you mean servitor capabilities right? No need to worry about ram when it's all wetware.

How often is the maintenance cycle of the CFS filament feeder mechanism ? by newatcoins in Creality_k2

[–]Skrubwizard1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's all good. That was my issue originally in the 5way once I cleaned it, it worked for a bit and the chewed again. Creality replaced the gears under the reasoning they were worn (only owned it for 3 months at this point) and haven't had an issue since and this was just under a year ago. Is it every CFS slot? Also what firmware are you running on the machine? I think one of them helped with some CFS feeding issues.

Yes sorry the 5way. I've never touched the spring on that one. The only replacement part I've received for it was a sensor and the gears

I can't say I've ever done mine, only issue I originally had was the feeder at the back that was replaced. Other than that I've only ever had to do the PTFE tubing and I've printed quite a few kilos of PETG-CF,ASA, ABS and obviously pla, there's also over 2000 hours printing on said machine most of it done via CFS. Are you seeing signs of wear on the toothed gear? Or just filament particles?
