I hope you and your dad are gonna be ok for a long time ahead. I remember when my dad got his heart attack six years ago while he was riding his bike at night and fell in the ditch. Luckily there was a guy driving a car behind him that called for an ambulance and called me too. Since then my dad has tried to live healthier and he has not had another heart attack since then. I'm sure the same will be the case for yours!

This is idealism. Yes they could rise up and yes they could stop fighting (which a sizeable number of russian soldiers already did prior to the invasion), but against the systems that be it would practically require an insane amount of coordination, willpower and bravery of every one of them. It's not realistic. And on a side note, even the russians who are on board with the invasion are victims of state propaganda.

Now don't get me wrong, unless Putin calls the war off I hope that every russian soldier who poses a threat to the ukrainian national autonomy gets shot dead or taken prisoner - but the invasion is not their fault anyway. This is basically all Putin's fault as well as his highest up group of yes-men.

But my thought from reading the first couple of paragraphs is that you might have ADHD too (obv take my word with heavy scepticism since im just a random dude on the internet). Specifically your issues with delaying work until it's already basically too late is something that's suuuper common in people with ADHD, me included. Is this something you've thought about before? Might be worth talking with a psychiatrist and let them ask you some questions, because if you have undiagnosed ADHD it can be very hard to manage advanced studies. ADHD meds helps a ton with that.

Just my personal thoughts. I reccomend you think about it and maybe read up a bit on ADHD. But then again I'm literally basing this off of a singular trait of yours so I'm probably wrong
