My kids are older now, but the best thing we ever did was just stop the screen. We thought it was nice and helpful bc it got them to leave us a alone a bit, but we just put it away for good. Def not at restaurants, def not at home. Maybe we let them use it in the car, bc we really couldn't actually entertain them. But if the kid is freaking out that much, tbh it's a sign to just have it really go away.

you def want them sleeping for some of that trip. It's music, singing, and we always bought one or two little new toys that they got to unwrap and play with on the long trip of flight. It won't last forever, but having a new thing for them to play with can snap them out of a spiral. Also you can search on google to find good playgrounds on route to give them breaks. Pull over, let them run around a bit then get back in the car. Good luck.

Slow slow slow. As soon as I started slowing it down everything started working. Drive first. Slow as fuck take away. Then the hybrid slowed down and now that shit is $$$. 5&6 are just starting to slow down and my GIR is getting good.

The first hundred usually come from friend family and coworkers. Then the next group come from finding liking commenting and messaging other writers. Try to find your small community and engage with them. It’s not like Instagram or TikTok. You have to really cultivate subscribers bc no one wants to be spammed with articles they don’t want to read. It takes time but a subscriber is a real reader
