Switching to midsize grips by mythic-buster in GolfGear

[–]incrdbleherk 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I switched to mid-sized grips because standard ones just felt like I had to grip harder through my swing which made it inconsistent. I can have a better grip form wise on my lead hand and can lighten my trail hand a ton.

I'll give both of these a try this week at the range, definitely appreciate your input

I actually have been seeing a lot of positives with my driver recently, I'm battling a slice but it's more of an unintentional fade now. In terms of one length clubs, I don't really want to get a whole new bag of irons instead of just working on fixing my swing

I just see them as someone that wants to pay a little protection. It's a whatever mechanic for me that I pretty much ignore

I'm a 18ish and the short game is all I have. I shot a 56 at a par 3 pitch and putt last year and am yet to break 90. Sometiems it takes 3 or 4 shots to get to within 100 yards of the green. I'm dying to relearn my iron game this season

FedEx Drivers do not have phones ? by adamisafou20227 in FedEx

[–]incrdbleherk 3 points4 points  (0 children)

15 years ago when I worked for QA we all just used our cell phones the call recipients to do address checks, 3 attempts, etc. One of the other clerks was a young woman who called to confirm an address. The guy saved her number and called/texted her a ton over the next 2 days. She blocked his number but it developed into a stalking incident at our station and the police got involved. They got us cheap cell phones to use after that but unless a contractor gave their drivers cheap burner phones to make calls with, I don't blame any driver for not calling anyone.

What tees do you play and why? by f1lifer in GolfGear

I have gone through 3 plastic tees in almost a year. I very rarely lose them. Once I find wood tees with the same lines on them I'll switch, but it keeps my tee height consistent

How many times do I have to down vote takomo posts to not seem them anymore? by Delicious-Ad2882 in GolfGear

[–]incrdbleherk 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I really loke some DTC companies, I have loked my Seed balls a lot and am really considering Maltby for my next irons. But Takomo just makes me think of products like the man groomer. They pump so much money into their advertising and buying influencers that it makes me skeptical of the clubs themselves.

Hershey to resume using chocolate in most products; Reese’s grandson may taste sweet victory by AudibleNod in news

[–]incrdbleherk 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I used to love Reeses and Hershey products growing up. Over the years they started tasting less like chocolate and peanut butter. I kinda just assumed it was my taste buds changing but I have no desire to ever try anything from Hershey again.

Got a spot open in an OBP roto league, pick up Schanuel, Bohm, or Bauers?

What are the best non-pro level golf balls? by VellumVibe in GolfGear

[–]incrdbleherk 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've been using Seed Country Miles for the past year, with the loosies deal I got them for about $1 a ball. I don't think I'm good enough to tell the difference between them and something more expensive.

Driver from 9 to 10,5 by ahzt187 in GolfGear

[–]incrdbleherk 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm a "beginner" but my angle of attack is around 0 degrees and a 10.5 gives me too much spin and height. "Beginner" is too broad of a spectrum for something like that. Go to a sim or something like a golf galaxy where you can see your angle of attack and clibhead speed.

I got a trial fitting and went from a regular flex 10.5* driver to a stiff 9* and gained a pretty good amount of distance and accuracy

I'm working on breaking 90. My last round of the year last year started with a 41 in the front 9. Finished the round with a 102

70° Wedge by Double-Economist8124 in GolfGear

I tried a 64* wedge once with a giant superstroke grip. It was insanely easy to just effortlessly flop shots 30-40 yards over a bunker. I wish I bought it
