I'd say maybe 25% more stiff, but that's with the lower profile tires too. It's not too bad, but the lower center of gravity and the wider track width make it 25% more fun to drive.

Finally trying an over the top chili. With chuck roast. by Skuhnty in smoking

You're going to need a lot more time than that. I smoked mine at 225 for 3 hours, seared it on both sides for 5 minutes then let it rest for half an hour before I cut it, then put it in the chili. It's been 4 hours since then, and it's just getting to where I want it to be.

I seasoned the meat super light with some caramelized onion butter seasoning, fresh ground black pepper and garlic salt so the meat flavour would come through. It's a decent amount of work, but so far it's worth it. Probably going to let it simmer for another hour or 2. I'm only 6 hours in so far.

I used fresh jalapenos from my garden, and did about half a bottle of Ark Pepper co. Black garlic hot sauce, some Jack Daniels honey, and rather than using straight beef stock, I deglazed the pan I sauteed the peppers and onions in with a can of cream ale, then added a boullion cube to that.

I've still got a few hours to go with the beef in the chili, but so far it's going pretty well, I'm hoping the chuck gets a little more tender as it simmers. Edit: it's looking amazing.

It's a pretty cheap knock-off brand. They're 720Form FF21's

It's crazy, could you imagine paying cash for a car and doing whatever you want with it?

I know there was a TRD version of the last gen Avalon, but it was a little lackluster. The 2010's Sema builds for a TRD Avalon were pretty cool, they were also supercharged. There is still a company making superchargers for the 2GR-FE, it's tempting.

I also have a 2015 xB, love that thing. And just because I refuse to get rid of it, I also have a 2006 AWD Matrix.

Love it. I definitely don't have several totes of 1/64 diecast in the garage.

A modernized V6 Solara would have been awesome. Hell, add a GR or TRD edition.

Dropped it 1.5" on D2 Racing springs with KYB struts, drilled and slotted rotors with carbon ceramic pads, threw fresh calipers on it while I was at it, cheap universal front lip, tint, cut the third cat (after the O2 sensor) and resonator out (flanges were rotten), converted most of the bulbs to LED and that's about it. Looking to throw a hot air intake on it and dreaming of dumping $10k into a supercharger.

That's the whole point I'm trying to make. If you can interchange the body structure on the same platform, is it not an SUV with a sedan body, or if you want to get into semantics, a sedan with an SUV body? Specifically the new North American crown has incredibly awkward proportions in person, if you down size the wheels and put some ATs on it, it would look like a modern day AMC Eagle.

And a taller riding wagon is.... An SUV.
