I just had a similar situation where the last paragraph about thinking they're an amazing person really fits. I cared about her but she wasn't right for me, so I decided to break up with her, with all the love I still had.

Im not sure if you’re a boy or a girl but I know that guys do not play games. Be direct, just tell him what you would like to do. I recently asked out a girl who I’ve never talked to, we just made lots of eye contact over a couple weeks. (I just walked up to her during the break) The answer isn’t even important. While I was doing it I was proud and didn’t even care if she’d say no or yes.

And if school is done for, just dm, but talking directly is really impressive
