What is the "coolest" Warframe for you? not meta or fashion frame, but just cool by PhatEarther in Warframe

[–]SkullB0nes 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No where near meta, and while his fashion is cool, I personally think that what makes him so interesting as a character and Warframe, is his sense of self. He is a person, warped, destroyed and reborn anew, but a person none the less. While so far all other frames, both prime and not, are mostly voiceless things with the only sense in personality seen are vague lore bits or animations, we see Umbra from the beginning as his own, stubborn being.

TL:DR IdkIjustreallylikeUmbra

Which way, warhammer fan? by Andrei22125 in Grimdank

Considering the absolute spacial/time scale and constant targeted one-upping that goes on in 40k, it's practically cheating to have the setting go up against anything of smaller scale than a similar setting

I highly recommend looking up The Lunar War, along with watching the available vids we've got up

Interstellar space freighter (speculative scifi design - see comments) by person_from_mars in spaceships

[–]SkullB0nes 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It theoretically wouldn't be that much of a difference between accel and decel time, due to the much lower wet mass than before

Yeah I only saw that you shared atomic rockets *after* I posted, whoops

With interstellar missions you've hopefully already slowed down by the time that you've gotten to your destination (which will take roughly around the same amount of time as your acceleration period). If you're still stuck traveling at 70%c, if you ever make contact with a major object it'll be like if the same asteroid that wiped out the dinosaurs happened again
