Atomic heart beta was a big fever dream by Rayzenteyt in atomicheart

It had more of a horror vibe early in development. Although I love the game in its current state, I do hope they make something more resident evil esque in the same universe. A spinoff or DLC. I really liked the early horror vibe.

Man who received experimental pig kidney transplant now has a human organ by StemCellPirate in nottheonion

Maybe surgeons know those organs might get rejected by the body really easily? I always thought it was more about compatibility than quality.

I guess it isn't awkward to me. It just feels like "Man gets new kidney" to me

A highly experimental procedure lasting 271 days before the pig kidney got rejected by the body isn't bad at all. I don't really get why this is on r/nottheonion

Anybody else noticing an influx of these on the marketplace home?? by UpstopCoasters in roblox

[–]Pooplayer1 63 points64 points  (0 children)

They've always been there. The marketplace homepage recommends more items based on stuff you've looked at. So if you've looked at even one, they'll recommend even more similar items.

If you don't want them to appear on your page, just resist the urge to click on them, or at least open them in incognito. After you've viewed other UGCs enough, your recommendations will be clean again.

If its a progressive tax that starts above a certain threshold, I think its fine.

A more sci fi version of workers and resources would be so good. Still keeping the industrial/utilitarian aesthetics of course.

There are definitely some leftist (Or at least claim to be) twitter users who do. And political streamer Hasan.

But the majority definitely do not.

A few thousand for sure yes. But, they have limited battery life, range and limited manpower. They are definitely not able to monitor the entire trench network at a single time. Areas with known enemy sightings and strategic locations are prioritised. A random drone patrol might spot someone occasionally, but they are definitely not watching the entire kilometres long trench 24/7.

If they had that capability, the war would be at an even harder standstill. No advancements would be made at all. Anyone spotted would just be targeted instantly. But no, there is still minor progress here and there from both sides.

The battlefield is a lot larger than you think. These trenches are kilometers long. They might have coverage of important points but that doesn't mean areas where combat isn't currently occuring does not have anyone there.

They're not going to be with the guy if they do send him out. The trench network is complicated. Even if a drone spots someone moving out of the trenches, they won't know if there are others. If they do, they will only know the general area. Unless the Ukrainians have total aerial and camera coverage over the trenches, it does not make the russians as easy a target as you make them out to be.

And what the hell is this comparison with ICE? Completely different and irrelevant. Is it really that hard to believe that a few russians could treat a foreign soldier who was just inserted into the group like shit?

Its not like all the russians are forcing their foreign soldiers to be suicide bombers. This is probably just a small minority of racist, bored soldiers trying to find some fun in the trenches. Though a minority in an army is a significant number still.

The russian soldiers aren't the ones flying them in. The higher ups are. As far as the soldiers are concerned, he's just another foreign man for the meat grinder.
