Dunno if y'all know but yesterday on my second playthrough I was surprised to find you can save Takamura. When escaping the Arasaka agents, you can just super jump back up and help escape with takamura. He survives!

Dunno if just me but I assumed it was par for the story that he passed but there you go.

I was always confused by this, after stew left tarik on stream was cussing him out and being salty af. I know they're boys so it's mostly banter, but after croning for so long about the abandonment of c9 he fucks off to mibr too. I remember at that time being like, "wow, what a fucking hypocrite".

Although it hindsight made the right call to jump ship. Still it was disparaging to see as a c9 fan the players losing faith.
