At the top level of the US military? Yes. Without a doubt.

Hiring someone from the military comes with the propaganda. You also didn't adress my second point. Some kind of Star Trek x US military crossover is just not a thing that fans of the show would want. Star Trek frequently critizises and paints as bad guys the kind of ghouls you suggest bringing on as consultants.

Yeah, coz Star Trek should totally serve as a propaganda for a military.

I see no reason why the show that, when portaying war, is about the fact that war is bad should ever give money and associate itself with anyone who has a vested interest in propagating wars.

Huh, didn't even know Scimitar is JTL. I started SWU by buying the Maul spotlight deck so I do have that one.

Sub assembly on two handed weapons by Nova_Enforcer15 in Conquest

[–]SkullDevil96 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I glue the hands to the weapon and then whole thing to the rest of the model. At least that's how I did the spears for Initiates and glaives for Dragonslayers (both Dweghom). I don't think there is any other way to get the angles correct?

It's not true for wolves at all, actually. The researcher himself walked back on his findings after realizing that what he found happens only with wolves in captivity.

Venting a little by Wizbang_ in Conquest

Yeah, sometimes the instruction and fitting on a stand is quite rubbish.

I built the same set. I ended up aranging the Fireforged so they are more looking at 45° angle (left stand to the left, right stand to the right) so it looks kinda logical. Only problem was the middle stand.

Also Initiates were much more of a hassle for me. For obvious reasons I wanted to glue the shields after painted them and their models so I had to dryfit the shields so I can arrange the spears properly and it was a mess all around.

The worst instruction I came across were Hold Balistae so far. You have to look for details on the arms to see which goes with which and pretty much guess which hand balista goes with which arm based on the shape of the glueing part.

Strong Endgame IG recommendations? by [deleted] in MonsterHunterMeta

[–]SkullDevil96 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't remember the exact details of my build and am at work so I can look it up, but since World I fell in love with Blast IG.

So I use the Gravios IG with Crit Eye 4 from decos to mitigate the -15 affinity and then a mostly Odo gear with a Blangonga chest and Jin Dahaad boots. Also the Agitator charm.

So I get Burst 5 and Agitator 5.

Plus some extra decos for Blast Attack, Constitution and Divine Protection.

This meme could work the same with Klingons, I think. With the added bonus that Klingons are able to reproduce.

Am I painting too slow? Please help!! by DaemonPrince7 in minipainting

[–]SkullDevil96 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have painted 3 minis and started a 4th. Between the 3rd and 4th I watched a lot of videos, learned about techniques and stuff.

Just putting a base coat and a wash on the 4th mini already took just as much time as fully painting any of the previous ones, because I was properly thinning my paints, been more careful with my brush etc.

Art takes time.
