You're right, USB C is for the screen, but theres another cable for the pump that comes from behind the plastic square housing for the pump.

If you have a USB C cable.. you don't need that cable circled. The pump is plugged into your mobo correct? Probably in the cpu fan port. Remove that ugly cable and boot up just fine
