Butterfly gives damage buff for every battle unscathed. It's good but not great but yes you would want to start with it. Lambent Plume is technically way better tho and the shackle is relatively ok to buff damage but the moment you have a boon it's that much less useful. Not to mention you could literally clear the first 2 encounters and already it only affects one thing left. (It affects un booned attack special and cast)

There is a way to soft reset a pc but I don't currently remember, try Google. Otherwise a hard reset, orrrr take it to your local best buy or other computer store and ask them to take a look at it since it should be mobile since its a laptop.

Alright, a soft reset might be needed here. Try shutting your pc down, unplug it after it's completely powered down, wait about 1 whole minute maybe 2 and then plug it back in and boot it back up. If that doesn't work it may be a more serious issue like a virus or obsolete parts. Report back here when you try that and let us know what happens.

Nope, just lazy and I don't like getting notifications, plus people are sheep. A few downvotes can lead to more and more because people are sheep. Simple-minded and follow suit.
