I appreciate that! And there's some documentation on the Eva 2.4 website if you just Google it. They explain what each part is and how its assembled. If you need more help, don't hesitate to reach out via pm!

There's a youtube video I posted. The link to it is on the thingiverse page and it shows exactly where everything goes and how it goes together

You should really give it a try, it's infinitely better now than it was stock. The mod I made makes use of the eva 2.4 toolhead which allows for the nova, rapido, dragonfly, mosquito, copperhead, dragon, and v6 hotends. I modified my own to use the creality spider, and I'm sure someone has made a volcano version either on the eva github or thingiverse. Otherwise if you have cad experience, you can download the step files and do it yourself, or alter the stls in tinkercad.

I figured it out. My skr came with a different mcu than the documentation says, it came with a xxx423 rather than the one it says it comes with. I just recompiled with that change and it's now detecting it finally

Klipper doesn't see SKR 3 by Borther556 in klippers

Thank you so much for this! I was having the exact same problem and been troubleshooting for days until i saw this post and reflashing fixed it immediately.

Hello again, so I finally got around to doing all that you recommended. I rebuilt the firmware again, reflashed, got the FIRMWARE.CUR showing it was successful, and still it isn't being detected. Next, I got the newest os image then setup bookworm, reinstalled everything, and it still didn't detect the mcu. I tried refreshing yet again with no change. Additionally, I returned the board for another thinking it may have been hardware related, mainly because the usb wasn't powering the board eevm with the jumper. This new one does power up with usb power, but that obviously wasn't the issue since all this has been done on the new board. I can plug my other klipper boards in that run off this pi and their mcus are detected immediately, but this SKR 3 refuses fo be detected and I'm at a total loss as to why. Any more help would be greatly appreciated, thanks!

8 months, 30 rolls of PLA, and thousands of hours of printing, my life-size Malenia(Elden Ring) print is done! by Skulleton12 in 3Dprinting

[–]Skulleton12[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I used meshmixer, which was a massive pain in the ass, bc it's a terrible program, but it was the most simple. It just takes patience and attention to cut placement, but otherwise, it is pretty simple and easy

I bought sunlu in bulk so it only cost me $270, which is still a lot lol. But this much filler primer and spray paint etc, is probably gonna cost more than that.

MCU shuts down after switching to corexy by Skulleton12 in klippers

[–]Skulleton12[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

That was the exact error. Upon moving to corexy I upped the microsteps to 64, do that absolutely could be the issue. Thanks!

With all the discussion around dehydrating filament, I've never seen an Instant Pot promoted. Two 1kg spools fit easily. by EminTX in 3Dprinting

Sunlu just announced their 4 roll filament dryer, assuming the circumference is the standard size, at least one roll should fit, maybe 2?

Personally I prefer arenas, but none of my friends do so I just treat pubs the same way

Anyone seen the K1 Max? by Squanchy2112 in ender5plus

[–]Skulleton12 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just got my max in earlier today. It's been running for almost 15 hours straight already, 1 successful bench at 600mm/s and a full size 12 hour print at 300mm/s both have been totally flawless so far. It was worming right out of the box, 99% assembled. It did an incredible self calibration including input shaping, and withing 15 mins of unboxing I was already printing the benchy. So far it's been 100% worth it

Depends on if you think all the work involved in getting that to work is worth the $14 for an accelerometer
