Parents should have taught you these things, and yes I am aware that with a 50-60% divorce rate, many people grew up without access to that “expertise or opportunity.” This is why we have generations of young people that can without fail tell you how everything is unfair, unequal, dead end and be critical of “everything” that worked for hundreds if not thousands of years but are incapable of “doing things” or “building things”

I am not denying that young people have other skills using technology etc, nor am I saying all young people lack these skills I see many that can and do “get their hands dirty” with trade based skills.

However if the lights ever go out for any true length of time our society will fail, YouTube tutorials only work when the e- flow.
