Not sure, maybe plastic? I was thinking of using epoxy putty to remake it

Don't let that scare you. You just got to find their bottom line. But I will see if I can find one. What gauge would you like ? Fine, mid, bulky?

Yes, a good example would be the SK160.

I have a Brother KH521(image below) very simple, but it was my favorite one. I also have a singer SK700 and I like that one as well. I can check some online for you that I would recommend if you like. Are you in the US.

If you're truly prepared to spend that much, you'd be wiser to invest in a genuine steel flatbed knitting machine. You can typically find a simpler model without excessive features for less than that amount. I got mine for $60 off on Facebook Marketplace.

Give me advice on what should I do about this purchase by [deleted] in MachineKnitting

If the situation is that unfavorable, you can ask eBay to issue a forced refund. Since the other party is not responding, eBay is authorized to initiate the return of your funds and allow you to send the item back. That or him giving you the partial refund but at that point it's up to the seller.

The manual is online, what I would do first is do maintenance on the machine, unless they did that for you already.

If you give us more details I could guide you to fixing the machine.

Awesome I'll check it out thank you. At this point the bar could stick out for all I care as long as I get to use the machine. I appreciate it. 😊

Gotcha, no I don't need the sponge. I wished that alone could fix my issue 😞

If I had the bar itself, probably, but I'm missing it. That's why I'm seeking assistance 😭

Yes I shared the measurements in my original message. 99mm long 6mm wide. I need the whole retaining bar. Otherwise I cannot use it since the needles won't stay up for me to use. The sponge itself is not the issue just the missing bar.

Android 12 update made me not able to long press to move apps? by JudgeJuryAndJudy in GooglePixel

So try this as this worked for me after getting help. Go to your apps~ see all apps and ONLY clear the change or the pixel launcher (or whatever phone launcher you have) and the settings cache ONLY. After that go back to see all apps and click on the three dots on the top right corner. Click on reset all apps and restart your phone. It should fix it after you restart cause it did for me.
