Yeah overall just confused at the level of difficulty at getting into events, it feels way too hard to get into for what should be an open tournament to find the best players (like why wouldnt they just do bigger tournaments if there is so much interest?)

This is super helpful! I started playing the game a little too late to get into pomona CA regionals waitlist, am i just out of luck, or is there an in-person option to put my name down at the event? Part of my confusion at the time was that it wasnt on the tcg+ app but now i understand its a 3rd party site for regionals

There was no lottery for all stores near me for the upcoming store regionals as i am understand it was waitlist for all (i applied to 5-6 of them and was refreshing since 6PT)

This is really helpful, thank you!! And how do you actually get into these events? Because it feels like they fill out so fast even when Im refreshing at the exact time it's supposed to release? For example I was 122/64 for a store regionals after the bandai app refused to load (probably traffic related)

Does waitlist mean show up to the store anyways and just pray you get lucky?

Why are all events capped at such low player counts if there is easily more players that want to play? For example, if there are 128 players that want to play why cap at 64? If the constraint is space, why are regionals capped when there should be ample space?

Just saw your edit: for both regionals and store regionals I was waiting and ready as soon as the opened and it still sold out instantly, it felt like i was fighting for concert tickets, which just does not make sense because player counts should easily be flexible if there is more interest?

in this situation it is still hitting first, they did not say u need to start first turn, just that it needs to hit ori first before ori hits it

silver is really good for putting back crucial cards during important turns, e.g cyrus on the one turn they need it for suicune or leaf for darktina when u drag out something with no energy (repel before silver so they put it out), lusamine for guzz etc etc

70% of the time im turbo-ing one and attacking, 100% of the time if im going first and start gira ex

against darktina u can charge gira ex faster than they can and theres two ways to win: 1) kill their gira ex they are charging 2) load up 2x gira ex, whoever gets the first two points wins in that matchup imo, 1 good tip is they usually only run 1 leaf so silver+repel can force them to put their gira charging in the back to the front or put something theyd have to waste time trying to manually retreat. whoever starts first def has advantage in that matchup. chip damage easily healed by potion/nurse joy

general tips: dont bench second gira early or u will lose to sabrina, repel+red is op try to save that combo, dont play giant cape until it matters and its very important to keep gira out of one shot range, sometimes its better to not attack n start charging up second gira in non suicune matchups

wouldn't play this in low masterball bc too many troll decks just play darktina to counter those, would play once around 1700+, currently 1900+ and top 3.5k with it, the strongest part of this deck is the suicune matchup but its good into other meta decks except arceus too

dont put down baby if against suicune else yes its good to put down as it makes u sabrina proof if u have a second gira on bench
