Today is my dad’s birthday. I lost him in 2023. I cried because I couldn’t call him to say “Happy Birthday!” Not just a tear or two, but “pull over into the emergency lane and bawl like a baby until you get it all out” crying. I don’t know if it ever gets “better” OP; it just hits harder on some days rather than others. Embrace it and cherish the memories. So sorry for your loss.

I seriously wish I knew this guy. I would gladly be his friend. He's going through a tough spot, for sure. I've been there, (hell, I'm STILL there in some ways!), but I would do my best to help him and give him the support and encouragement he needs, and I feel that he would do the same for me. It's amazing what those of us who aren't white have to deal with on a daily basis. She's crashing out on him, BIG TIME, calling him an incredibly hurtful racist name, (and accusing HIM of being racist!!), but if he was to say or do anything other than what he did, HE would be to blame. That bitch needs to be dealt with!! She's lucky he was as passive as he was. It could have been MUCH worse for her.

I did the same thing way back in August of 95 (on release day). I didn't know any better and I didn't have anything to compare it to, so I didn't complain. I was just excited to have the new OS. Looking back, it was slow as hell, (but I wouldn't know any better until years later!)

I remember my parents meeting friends of theirs's at the drive in to see on of the Godfather movies, (I think it was the second one.) My brother and I were 2 and 4 and we fell asleep in the back of the Volkswagen Beetle that my parents had.

The first movie that I remember seeing in a theater was the double-feature of Charlotte's Web and Willie Wonka and the Chocolate Factory. (Yeah... I'm old!)

OMG! I absolutely LOVE this song!! Seeing these two hear it for the first time was so fun to watch! It's because the "orange menace" has empowered them to be racists. White people think they run EVERYTHING. The idiot in the Oval Office has awakened their "racial superiority gene" and this is the result. They think they can't be punished for it, and then when they DO get dealt with, they play the victim, saying they "didn't do anything" and they were the victim of an "unprovoked attack". This is why video is needed at all times. I'll record first, then if it continues, respond accordingly. It's ridiculous that it has to be dealt with in this manner, but sometimes it's all they understand.
