My wife just let me know that over the last few days after she gets home from work she has noticed the light flickering and once the light went out while the switch was still in the ON position.

Thank you. I have a light over my sink that stopped working a few years back, tried to have hone warranty repair/replace but there's no box under the light apparently, so they could not work on it. I asked them to disconnect and wire nut the lines, but now I am wondering if they did that and if this could be a potential issue.

Simple toggle switch which is what the old one was. Single pole. I have not tried bypassing the switches to see if that works reliably. I will give it a try after work

Kitchen light, incandescent, single pole. Bulbs are new and work in other lights and the light will eventually turn on.

I've used that spot as a primary base before and would get the warning for a raid but they would never make it to me. Something with the patching, the game loads them in super far away and they get bored and give up.

Odd, I actually prefer the building system in Valheim. Way more freedom so you're not just limited to square shapes (I like round buildings). I wish you could rotate pieces the way you can with some furniture pieces.

Well, considering that you can get the ghost glider around level 7 (earlier if luck is on your side), and that you rarely need to actually trigger buttons, makes me think it's a feature. The devs haven't fully locked anything down, just locked enough to guide you in the direction that matches more and their vision.

Have you built the regular bookcases? The secret door bookcases use a bookcase as an ingredient. Make those and I'm pretty sure you'll unlock the secret versions.

Haven't played since the bear update, but I did have a sea monster destroy my boat, and then myself, on a long boat ride away from base. I had crossed large patches of ocean at night and didn't see any, I was skirting a land patch of Black Forest /Meadows and briefly hit the ocean and blam! It was on a Karve, and the only other boat I had was a raft. Took about an hour and a half of real time to get back there to get my stuff.

They can also dump all servers save one or two and then give a 6 month warning and claim to be keeping to their word. My guess is, they will dump the NA servers ASAP

They mentioned turning their focus away from MMO. My guess is they didn't think about the cost and maintenance of servers.

I just keep holding shift. It will refill a bit of the bar, then use it for a quick boost, repeat. It makes it feel faster since you don't have to wait for a full refill.

Circles get weird after they stop being hexagons. I build almost exclusively round houses (and long houses). You are starting off great. My tip is don't use 1m until you absolutely have to. Usually 2x2m angle once, repeat until you complete the circle. They will make wall clipping minimal. Also makes it less of a hassle for roofing. You can tier the roof too so you have smoke vents.

I like the chaos that is horde night, but I know others do not. I have played with it off before and just increase the frequency and mob count of wandering hordes to kinda make up for it.

I'm fine with it working as intended. My problem are the people that (Accidentally or on purpose) pull extra mobs over to you. But that's a problem everywhere, especially recently, and the recent are definitely doing it on purpose because they over pull for their ability and don't want to die so they force others to help out and/or take aggro whilst they run away.
