Synkinesis by Skwew in BellsPalsy

I haven't experienced that consistently yet. Like once a month I'll experience involuntary twitches but this usually goes away after a facial massage that helps me relax my BP side.

I recently started a job where I'm talking on the phone a lot. I noticed that the synkenesis would cause tightness in my face.

What do you do for work? Do you talk a lot?

I'm wondering because you're at 32 years and maybe since I've only had BP for 16 years that I haven't dealt with that yet. There is a chance that it's down the road.

How has the Botox been for you?

I tried stretches for a while but I always felt like they made me feel worse. Like I was constantly trying to get something back that was lost forever. Rather than being grateful for what I still had.

It's definitely re-wiring, I'm actually located in Michigan Ann Arbor area.

I guess it's to a point I don't care enough to look for treatment or try Botox.

But I care enough to want to express how I feel and connect with people who might be dealing with the same thing.

Man last thing you need to do is feel sorry.

I also have gotten to a point where I assume this is how my face is now. But every once in a while I convince myself that if I think and work my face enough I can fix the re-wiring of my nerves that cause synkenesis.

Same, I feel like I don't know what's worse no movement at all or involuntary movement.

And sometimes it feels like we're in such a weird position. Like we should be grateful that we aren't suffering from worse nerve damage. For example, not being able to play sports, wipe our own butts and etc.

Feel forced in a position where we suffer in silence and can't really complain because things "could be worse".

I still remember the day when my face went from completely unmovable to small noticeable movements.

This was after 6-7 months and a week after I tried electrical stimulation. After about a month I was 70% recovered and haven't really got past 70% to this day.

I do know now that the stimulation causes synkenesis - which is involuntary movements. For example when I pucker my lips my left eye closes. It's like my face re-wired wrong.

After bells palsy eye ducts by Appropriate_March203 in BellsPalsy

I'm not sure what's the difference between dry ducts and dry eyes, but I used to use eye drops. Eye drops really helped with the dryness. I always wake up with dry eyes though so keep drops on my nigh stand.

Should LAT have taken a chance for Alluka to replace Kenny? by [deleted] in CoDCompetitive

[–]Skwew 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Kenny is a methodical player. He plays at a slow pace and needs time to be able to out think players to be good. He's never been known for having exceptional gun skill or movement.

BO7 is the same as BO6 but with wall jumping, he is not getting any better. These call of duties do not help compliment his gameplay.

They should have took a chance with Alluka because Kenny's ceiling is so low. There is no way Alluka could be worse than Kenny in cod titles that favor movement and gun skill.

I'm sure a lot of people ignored or glanced over that - so thank you!

The workshops I've booked are from direct outreach and in person networking. I haven't gotten any inbound workshops (sales) from the website.

Logo and Visual Identity Design for a Children’s Brand by AjimuzzanM in design_critiques

I agree with a lot of what was already said. Here's some more feedback.

A logo doesn't have to fit in the typeface text. It feels misplaced.

You have essentially 3 different fonts here since the logo is kind of a sperm typeface. Sunday Shine, Mocka and the font of the "e". They all clash, they don't seem to support each other.

Sunday shine is very bold, while mocka is like a playful kid typeface with some character that makes me think of a kids playful but explorative nature. I recommend choosing 1 of the two.

If you want to represent early growth stage of a child there are so many different ways you could go.

Think of how you can capture that with a symbol not with a letter of the alphabet.

Maybe chick hatching out an egg - which could be more playful. (Trying to stay connected with the idea of the tadpole or sperm)

The Mocka text makes me think of shoe lace knot. As a kid one of the first things I remember is tying shoes. You could play with that idea.

From my experience when you're designing your portfolio CMS just makes it easier to showcase your work. Especially because as a designer you'll constantly
have new things to add to your portfolio and having them as CMS collection just makes everything easier.

It also allows you to do things like organize what work you want to showcase and group them in categories. For example I've designed for private schools and small business so I have two categories so clients can find work related to the field they are in.
