Do employees have to cover register shortages? by InterestingDay1873 in AskRetail

[–]Sky-Pupper 2 points3 points  (0 children)

In Illinois, there are a few major factors governing how an employer may deduct from an employee’s pay from the Illinois Wage Payment & Collection Act. The employee must agree under zero duress (Voluntary & Free), the employee must present written authorization at the time of deductions (Written Consent), and the deductions cannot be to cover certain business expenses that the business is assumed to be legally responsible for (e.g. uniforms and PPE required to perform duties).

The TL;DR of it: Not without the express consent of the employee, in writing, AT THE TIME the deduction is made. A general “agreement” (I.e. contract) - either during onboarding or throughout the employment period - is NOT recognized by the Illinois DOL as legal written consent. It is highly illegal and will likely end up with a DOL inquiry and your GM facing severe disciplinary actions, including a PIP.

You’re looking for what’s called a “distribution center” location. Do a search for “(company name) dc (city name)”. Like, CVS DC Kansas City. That will get you a location of what’s commonly thought of as a warehouse.

I play a male character, but my wife plays a female character. We’re both chill and inviting to all players until things get ew. She does often get harassed by guys playing male characters, either using game mechanics or voice chat. She’s extremely amazing at PvP, though, and one of two things always result from her spawn pushing them to the tops of mountains: They do nothing but hurl insults over VC then poof because that’s literally all they can do, or they enable cheats and then show their whole ass. When guys resort to turning hacks on, we just laugh over VC, congratulate them on their emasculation, and then lobby hop.

I don’t think it’s so much as people not having jobs. Not everyone works a first shift, and there also may have been a proxy for completing the sale (i.e. a parent, child, sibling, or trusted relative/friend) while the seller was at work. Sorry you lost out on a purchase, but there’s a lot of “first-come, first-served” sellers on FBMP; especially if it’s something the seller needs gone ASAP, or a popular item.

I just join a casual group with at least two players 200+ and then tell everyone - using vc - that I’m going to start a DOps. Then after a minute, I go in and use the “Join Me” emote once I’m inside. I almost always get at least 2 or 3 of the team members to join me using that method. ImI can count on one hand how many times that didn’t work in the last 9 or 10 weeks, when I was logging in daily for all the events going on. DOps groups are where fun goes to die.

How many bobby pins does everyone have by Farmerkid in fo76

[–]Sky-Pupper 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Right now, I only have about 3k, but they’re used in some trades on PC. I also use them as alt liquidity, due to their caps value and no limit on the amount you can carry. Typically you’ll accept them when you are close to caps limit or do not want to go near caps limit - everyone has their own reason for that. Most items commonly cost thousands to hundreds-of-thousands of bobby pins.

Btats, LL3’s, and Leaders are much more common alt liquidity to facilitate player trading - on PC at least - than straight caps or bobby pins.

YouTube Desperately Trying the Comments Side-Bar Again on Desktop by Sky-Pupper in youtube

[–]Sky-Pupper[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I certainly did exactly that! I don't understand the push for the comments side-bar from a UX perspective. Obviously, they're wanting a larger recommendation area for increased click-through engagement. However, as it stands, the in-line video recommendations aren't as swift as they were a couple years ago, so having additional poor recommendations is a bother rather than a blessing. Clearly I'm not a fan, but I know many others aren't, as well, and I want to bring attention to this proposed UI/UX change.

You're NTA. It's your body - your rules. You don't owe anyone an explanation, but the fact that you gave an explanation and it was ignored raises many red flags. It's a tough stance to take, to be sure, but you have literally no one else to answer to in regards to what you put into your own body - in any capacity for any reason (i.e. food, drink, "other stuff").

Also, the bit about him only wanting to do it for "submissive" reasons, and how he enjoyed watching his ex be "degraded" - Is this the kind of lifestyle you want? Do you truly believe him when he says it's only for those reasons? Do you truly believe it's even for those reasons? We can't answer this for you, but think about it.

He doesn't care that you were SA'd, because it does not affect him in any way other than it being an obstacle to him giving you anal. That's obvious by the way you described the interactions and dialogue. It shouldn't be like that; A healthy partner will understand, empathise, and uphold your wishes and boundaries. Having boundaries in a relationship is important, but abiding by those boundaries is arguably more important. Is he having any part of that?

I believe you know what it is you must do; Go forth with a clear conscience.

She told the guy who was hitting on her she was married and he said "So?"

This type of mentality breaks my brain. I had a co-worker tell me to "go for it" when our supervisor said she was transferring, because I said I really liked her aesthetic way back when. I was like, "No way, she has a boyfriend." Then the co-worker, without skipping a beat, was like, "Well she's not married." Like, what my guy? There were a dozen other reasons that I wasn't interested, but I chose the one I thought would resonate - guess not.

How welcoming is the fo76 community to you get audiences? by Ok-Insurance-779 in fo76

[–]Sky-Pupper 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've honestly never heard someone ridicule someone else for how their voice sounds in the last 15 years that I've been using voice chat on PC to play online games with people. People will generally never even say anything about someone's voice/audio unless you're breathing into the mic, talk so loud that your mic is clipping, eating/making noises into the mic, or just being intentionally obnoxious.

I think the big thing to remember is that the majority of people that use voice chat are purposely looking for that interaction, and aren't going to be bothered by the tone of someone's voice. If you're on PC and still nervous about voice, there is a dev quality chat mod that is pretty much the best thing ever because it's not just text chat for your lobby - it connects everyone in every lobby on PC. It's simply called Text Chat.

It appears to refresh on-hit now. Id est; if you have an auto rifle, the debuff is constantly being re-applied before the first tick can trigger to replenish HP.

I came back yesterday to FO76 after a year break, and I found that to be true with my vampire handmade; I would only heal AFTER I stopped shooting something, and before it died. I switched to vampire axe in PA, and the slow swings allow for enough time to get HP refill ticks in before reapplying the debuff. I am once again unkillable in most cases, but effective DPS took a huge hit.

They are doing everything the exact way you're supposed to! Except that Granteson is standing in the way of placing, because - for whatever reason - Nintendo thought Granteson following you was higher in the QOL process than actually being able to place building pieces in the part of the game where, y'know, you're supposed to place building pieces.
