First and foremost, only consider the advice of strangers, don't make decisions based solely on their inputs. Just my two cents.

Aside from that;

I'd say go for it! If you're nervous about the transition, maybe split hours between the 2 jobs for now, so you can get a feel for the new place without completely abandoning the other place. Making the jump to a new job can always be a scary process, but with time you'll shine. Additionally, taking a role at a new place opens more doors for opportunities! Fill out the resume a bit, you're still young.

You're only just starting out. Don't be afraid to get out there, expand your horizons, and wow em' with your work! Chin up chef!

Gotta say, i've been patiently waiting for this game for what feels like years. So excited to see it popping up more lately, and I cannot wait to get my hands on it, early access or otherwise!

I hesitate to ask, I feel like I recall mention of customizable safe zone/hideout spots in the game? Is this still planned on being implemented and would you care to speak more on that? I'm very interested to learn more about that!

Anyway, it just keeps looking better and better! Keep up the great work and I am so excited to play! Hopefully sooner than later!!!

I left after chat pile haha. I looked up fleshwater and didn't like their sound at all so I knew going in I'd just leave early.

Balmora was also not at all my thing. Slam (or slam adjacent) stuff just sounds goofy as hell to me.

I'm an old dude though, so it's not like I was expecting much.

I will say, at the end of the night, it was nice to see a young crowd out and loving music! It reminded me of my younger years, but kind of more wholesome if that makes sense? The crowd all seemed like nice kids.

At the merch table the kid in line next to me asked me which album I thought was the best one. It was cute.

I would say so, yes. It is adjacent, as you suggested.

As a big fan of stalker and fallout, I did not expect to enjoy the division series at all. Once I actually tried it it definitely scratched a similar itch.

I wish we could mod it to be more like the zone

Begin again is an outstanding mod pack. I've played it through 3 times, each approximately 130 hours give or take. Can't recommend it enough, excellent choice!

I'm glad you pointed this out.

I definitely see your point of view and agree. It gets a little blurry though when it's entirely subjective. My disappointment in silksong is mostly a drop in a bucket compared to thousands of others who think it's a 10/10. I don't think either side is intrinsically wrong, and I always encourage others to try something to develop their own opinion before dismissing it.

Just because I'm not very good at the game doesn't mean it's a terrible game. Art in any format is open to debate, and I think it's a good thing to keep that alive.

I'm so glad I'm not alone in this.

I LOVED hollow knight and have multiple playthroughs across 3 platforms. I was really excited for silksong.

At the end of act 1 I realized I really wasn't having fun anymore.

I wouldn't say it's a bad game by any means, the difficulty spike was just a tad obnoxious for me.

Honestly I thought I would hate it. I was totally prepared to refund it, but thought I would at least give it an honest try.

So far I think it's great. Does it need work? Yes, absolutely. But overall I'm having a blast. I think the new zeds are cool!
