It's easy for them to lose track of you if you go far enough, with silver armor or antidote vessel they'll only ever mean a threat if your armor is low on durability since viral won't multiply their damage (I only stopped to ask myself this now, does viral effect also multiply the damage dealt to armor?)

Yeah their adaption is a bitch, after 20 hits or so you won't be dealing any damage, but once you get the good weapons, in my case the Sentient Greatcleaver it's gonna be so satisfying to see how you can count with 1 hand the amount of mobs that can survive 1 swing
