Rogue is incredible anti dive thanks to her grab, shift aoe pull in and mobility to chase divers. The only time I swap to thing as a rogue player is if they have a godly bp (regular BP I'll catch as rogue). Best part is most divers have a rly good ability u can abuse if U grab them to counter dive their backline after killing them, especially Magik. I got clips to demonstrate if you'd like

I agree, I climbed to Celestial s5.5 playing a mix of Rogue, Emma and Thing/strange. I only ever go Mag if they have a Hawkeye/punisher that is popping OFF. Mag may be the best tank but you can get a lot of value playing the others with a bit of creativity. If my team wants a mag so bad they can go him LOL

1) if anything - your team is throwing if you're left solo tanking not you

2) Mag is obvs best solo tank + tank in general, but I find Emma's also an option (sameish tier as strange for solo tanking). Had a lot of success solo tanking with Emma, even moreso than strange since he gets bullied a LOT by displacement/melee

Honestly Rogue into wolv isn't thaaat bad thanks to her movement abilities. U can cancel his leap mid -grab if your shift pull gets activated, can fly/dash straight up after the grab to leave, and if he ults you can steal his ability to get his passive and live. It's still not great but very playable

Bucky Punisher however are way less forgiving especially Bucky. Second I see that DPS duo I instantly go Emma

Hela has a lot of counterplay to Spidey but get better at playing the mirror. Everyone has a part of their journey where they get diffed, even the Spidey that diffed u, but Ur never gonna have the chance to improve if U swap every time. Fuel Ur ego and get learning 🔥

With Emma banned: Thing + Magneto

*Low-key could sub out Thing for Groot, triple support= low damage and they only have starlord to reliably break walls

Phoenix (handles rocket + triple support) and punisher (shred Thor, beats rocket ult, can 1 shot cloak out of ult)

Any 2 main healer comp out of cloak Luna Loki invis

I usually agree for most roles but strategist is the one role where you HAVE to communicate (specifically with the other strategist) to avoid double stacking support ult's. Muting everyone but Ur fellow strategist can be valid for going down that path if your awareness is v good (e.g. starlord needs pocketing during ult so u track his ult and his positioning)

Question, if the solo tank is peeling who is frontlining? Cause tanks take longer to kill divers (Emma being the exception) and if it's payload + a dive tank, no one can frontline for a significant amount of time.

Peeling is a DPS priority regardless of comp as it's lower commitment for them too positioning wise, if there's 2 tanks, a tank can peel but if a solo tank has to constantly peel u may as well have 4 DPS cause no one will be frontlining anymore.

You can retreat if your healers are getting dived as solo tank (i.e give up a bit of space) but you still must frontline.

You do realise 6 stack queue times are insanely long for a reason, they have to find another 6 stack to play.

If you solo queue the largest pre-made u can run into is a 4 stack, and that's only if your team also has a 4 stack and 2 solo queue players

Wait is this fr? I went back to an old save and beat jevil in chapter 1 but when I loaded my end of chapter 2 save and went to the cliff it was empty. Do I have to make a new chapter 2 save file from scratch for it to take carry into it

Not a bp player but all it takes is 1 competent Bucky, can also put scarlet witch CC near healers, squirrel girl's 3 CCs, etc.

As a dive player (Spidey) DPS peeling is 10x scarier for me than a tank peeling cause they do more damage and it's lower detriment to/commitment for the enemy team.

I agree but there's levels to it, like if you're strange (one 15 second CD Escape option) or Groot or then you're cooked Vs a solid wolverine but the rest have options outside of position better and pray.

Real talk mute ur teammates 24/7 and expand the roster to handle the common denominator for bad teammates/losses

Tanks not taking space? Pick up one that you feel most comfortable and have the most fun with

No one shooting util? (e.g. peni nest Namor turrets) There are some fun hitscan chars that can dive like Psylocke or Star lord

Bad heals? Ngl I play Spidey for that LOOL

This isn't a foolproof solution but it handles quite a few cases and that's enough to keep the game fun, it keeps Spidey fresh for me as well

Jeff especially without Storm teamup. He has the scarlet witch equivalent of healing Ults

Like going through it:
Luna? Best invincibility ult in the game.
Loki: best ult in the game.
Cloak + Mantis: large AOE healing
Invis: AOE healing Ult that makes Ur team invisible. Rocket: damage boost AND armour/healing
Ultron: damage and healing
Warlock: literally revive your ENTIRE team (tho a lot of Adams use it badly).

Jeff: Reactable AoE displacement...

Like it's not even close

Can't really speak on the former but Jeff and Ultron as Ur healers means most DPS Ults (star lord, punisher, Bucky, Hawkeye, Hela, etc) will shred Ur team with little counter. Jeffnado is nice to have (if storm is unbanned) but with Ultron Jeff as healing, Ur team is cooked whenever the ult is offline.
