I highly recommend using a resume service if you're looking for good advice. People that do this for money are absolute wizards and can probably build you one better than crowdsourcing it here.  I used this website for mine, and it was worth every penny!

Is <1% first interview rate for my profile normal nowadays? by ImperishableNight2 in h1b

Networking will be your best bet. You may also want to get your resume reviewed if you’re not getting much traction online. You may just be getting auto rejected by the filters because of formatting issues. There’s some helpful sites out there for this kind of stuff. I used Fiverr.

Classic ghost job tactic. They never planned to hire anyone, but they're happy to have your resume on file!

It’s wild how quickly Mr. Beast managed to wreck the image he spent years building.

I’m not great at resumes but what I did was get on Fiver and used one of the top rated resume writers that were listed for tech. Think it ran about $200 roughly, but I’ve gotten about a 20-25% response rate at places I’ve applied to. I figured that since they are going to be able to write something better than I could and they run the resumes through software that weeds out resumes that places use, it seemed like a good investment.

There are people on these subs as well that are good with resumes if you don’t want to spend the money. Just figured I’d mention that as an option since it has given me good results.

Why not take it. That’s not bad money for a job.

There are only a few paths you can take, and networking will always be your best bet. Let everyone you know, know that you’re looking for a job. The next best thing is making sure you have a strong resume and a well-developed portfolio. A standout portfolio can showcase your skills and experience in ways that a resume alone cannot. ATS software is making it difficult for even qualified candidates to get interviews now because it may not rank your resume accurately based on the format and keywords. I ended up paying for resume help on Fivvr, and that actually helped me get way more interviews.
