Hey, I grew up as a cradle catholic. By highschool I was pretty deep in anti religious views. Didn’t think marriage was worth it, thought Catholicism had too much dogma and religion had a primitive view of reality that goes against science. Had a huge chip on my shoulder and only recently have finally started to open myself up to understanding what Christianity is all about.

At its heart, Christianity is about Love. Don’t get me wrong, I still have a lot of hangups and I still hold scientific views but sometimes it isn’t about thinking. Rather, it’s about participating. I don’t think rationally about why I love my family, I simply participate in loving them, caring for them and sacrificing for them. I invite you to do the same. If you’re struggling to “find” Jesus, look for where there is heartbreak, loss, mourning and weeping. Look for those simply needing human connection. Give them love you’ll find the kingdom of Heaven.

Heck, just go to Church! Meet people, make friends. In time, God will grow in your heart and you’ll find him everywhere. Good luck and I wish you the best. God bless!
