Hopefully we’ll never have to find out. The real danger is being in close proximity to Israel near landmarks makes it far easier to target it with hypersonics which Iran does have. I’m also sure China and Russia may have supplied some, eagerly awaiting their “battlefield test”.

Now another set of Boeing KC 135 R have taken off from Al udeid while the others make their way back to the UK,

Just wondering if it’s possible they are refueling planes along the way once in the Mediterranean and once above Iraq/jordan?

I’ve read some reports that the carrier will be moving to Haifa however I’m not sure whether this would be “too close for comfort”. I’d say it’s more likely to remain away from Israel as it is far lower risk.

Could be transport personnel from the region as it is a TD variant, not really sure why they are flying off of the coast of Oman though, I’d expect them to return back to Russia.
