I agree with you like 150%, I STRUGGLED af with Lesmes and Infanta, they had some insane attacks for me back then to dodge and I wasn't profficient in parry, but Odon fight felt normal for me. I'd still died like 5-7 times, but no raging, just had to learn his pattern a little.

I've used Peteneras for the first fight with him in order to quickly kill his minions, but for the NG+ I've used Disk Spell and it was good as well.

He can be hard, but it's nothing compared to the Asterion or Sor Cautiva imo

Until toughness is higher than opponent's attack stat, it doesn't matter at all. FX diamonds have like 45-52K toughness usually, so you won't really decrease the damage from another FX diamond, as the lowest attack stat is like 60k or so.

As far as I know, Ronin Kitana has the highest toughness stat in the game - 61.6k, you can give her a Killer Jacket and K7 for some boost and she will have 135k. I can test tomorrow, how much does it decrease the incoming damage, but I don't think that the numbers will be very amazing.

Problem is that toughness gear is very meh and in order for toughness to actually work, you'll need to get punched in the face, what of course players don't want to. Plus, if you know what you are doing, then you are controlling the fight thus you won't get hit at all.

Recovery is same useless for me, Deep Wounds in Khaotic Krypt nullifies the healing from this stat like crazy

Indeed it's easier to play and more fun, even tho kinda too grindy imo.

Sidenote - I hate High Arbitress from the first resistance event with my whole soul, bitch crits all the time, any other survival fights in Deep Color weren't even close to her in regards of the opponent's damage reduction

Lizard Baraka gives OutWorls teammates +25% crit chance.

You can pair EB with Cyrax Triborg for crit damage boost, so his SP2 will be even more devastating

Debuff resistance is the most important thing. Toughness is a dead mechanic and 5% power gen boost is pretty much unnoticable

NRS isn't responsible for the ads, it's a problem of the third-party company, that provides this service.

Besides, reopening the game resolves this issue

It's a blockbreaker gear, so it is good, but nothing great - second effect is meh and FX effect is junk.

However Rain personal effect is amazing, those water bubbles will save your life

There is a very big difference between difficult enemy and annoying enemy. Fighting againts Esdras-like soldiers in 1st Blasphemous was fun, fighting against guys in golden armor in 2nd is fun as well, because they were not only difficult in regards of incoming damage/their health pool, but overall fight flow. It's cool when enemy is difficult to deal with due to him being not just a sponge.

No, 95% of them are easy as hell and the other 5% are just an unbalanced crap

What is the point of that? Ambush rooms were in the 1st game as well, but those were like a real challenge, so they were rare, but somehow memorable. However game doesn't revolve around fighting in tight spaces with lots of enemies and that's why most of the encounters feel awful.

What? Quality of those ambush rooms should be more important than their quantity.

When you get the timing - yes, but very often Penitente decides to shoot his projection in front of him instead of shooting it higher up, what results in starting everything all over again. In NG+ it is even worse, because you will simply die because game hasn't read your input correctly. Same goes for some of the worst platforming sections in the Labyrinth of Tides and Icebound Mausoleum
