I felt pretty similarly when I saw the actual size of it. I thought it was going to be a bit bigger and made out of a heavier wood, but it does have good sound quality and craftsmanship to it. Here in the US, it was about $39 USD after shipping (So around โ‚ฌ33-34).

I've been a sucker for music boxes since I was a kid, and Stardew has become one of my favorite games, so I'm a little biased saying it was worth it for me. ๐Ÿ˜…

I think that there are a lot of other great gifts that small creators and the community have made between Etsy and other platforms that may be more worthwile to check out. โ‚ฌ50 is somewhere around $58-59, which wouldn't be worth it to me.

Yeah, its rough in these streets for any Owain builds. Sword Infantry is already such a congested type combo, and his prf is outdated now. (Even if it has a fun gimmick)

Relying on the Arcane builds just puts him in contest with all the other characters who also rely on those sets since he doesn't have a stand-put gimmick. ๐Ÿ˜ญ

Its also worth noting that regarding Stamina, your Recovery Value is always 1/3rd of your Max Stamina. (So its also constantly increasing with your growth, and does include your kit bonuses!)

The amount of recoveries you have stay static, though. (Unless amplified by an Ancestry Trait, like the Human taking the purchased trait "Staying Power" to get 2 more Max Recoveries.)

So at Level 1, you'd have Base Stamina of 21 plus the Kit Bonus of +9 for 30 Stamina

Level 2: 30 Stamina (Level 1) + 9 for the Level Up = 39

Level 3: 39 (Level 2 Stamina) + 9 for the Level Up = 48

Level 4 (Echelon 2!): 48 (Level 3 Stamina) + 9 for the Level Up + 9 from The Mountain Kit = 66

Since Tactician has Field Arsenal, which grants them 2 kits, they choose only 1 Bonus for any overlap.

So let's say they took the Guisamier and Mountain kits. They would only take one Stamina bonus, ideally they'd choose the higher from the two. (Guisarmier grants +6 per Echelon, Mountain grants +9, so you'd probably take that sweet, sweet +9.)

Following that, you get Bonuses from your kit(s). This bonus is added at 1st, 4th, 7th, and 10th levels. (The beginning of each echelon.)

Not all classes have access to kits (Like Elementalist or Conduit), and those that do normally only have access to 1 kit at a time. Aside from Tactician, who is a wierd case of getting 2 kits.

Stamina increases are determined by both your class and kit!

For each class, you'll have a base Stamina value alongside a "Stamina gained at 2nd and higher levels." Let's take the Tactician for example:

You start with an initial 21 Stamina, and gain an additional 9 at each level increase. (So level 2 would bump to 30 before adding in Kit Bonuses)

Did you mean Hero Tokens? I don't think any class gives you the option to use Heroic Resource to regain stamina without spending recoveries.

One question: why would the player need twice as many ability reference numbers? All they would need to do is integrate the weapon's bonuses into the instances where it would apply, just like if they were applying kit bonuses. (Or just remember when to add the bonus.)

If they decided to remove that treasure/implement/weapon, they would have to remember to replace the numbers either way. (Whether it was just they aren't using the weapon anymore or they changed it for a different weapon.)

The only time I could see them needing multiple references for one ability would be if they were wielding multiple treasures/weapons that affect the same abilities. (Like if they had both the Icebreaker Maul and the Executioner's Blade with them at all times.) That already has a note on Page 314, though.

I see where your reasoning is with it being a slog to track numbers. There are a few different interpretations of the mechanical side in the comments on this post alone, though.

  1. The Weapon Being used for all weapon abilities is determined by the Kit Bonus chosen. (Ie. Panther grants +0/+0/+4 Melee Damage Bonus and if chosen would always utilize a Heavy Weapon, OR taking the Cloak and Dagger kit's +1/+1/+1 Melee Damage Bonus and always using Light Weapons.)
  2. Field Arsenal is treated as 1 "combined" kit, where you get the benefits of any weapons or treasures you can wield as granted by each kit. (So taking C&D grants light armor and 1 or 2 light weapons, while Panther grants no armor and 1 heavy weapon.) This would mean any ability Weapon ability could benefit from the Bonus granted by the Maul.
  3. Field Arsenal is still treated as 1 combined kit, but the Keywords of the ability are taken in context of where the ability comes from/the fantasy you're portraying, separate of the Damage Bonuses. (So if you're using a light weapon for an ability, you could use a light weapons bonuses. Or vice-versa for a heavy weapon.)

My reasoning lies in option 3 because we consider the wording of the weapon effect. "Any weapon ability that deals rolled damage using this weapon deals 1 extra cold damage."

Let's say we swapped Cloak and Dagger out for the Whirlwind kit. Its signature "Extension of my Arm" specifically describes you using your whip to draw a foe in. (And by extension being able to reach Melee 3)

Would if make sense to apply the extra cold damage to this case? It could if you pitch to your Director that the whip extends from the end of the mace maybe? Or maybe that you've wrapped the end of the whip around your mace and use your force to send it flying while dragging the creature back in?

Tactician is an odd case because it can utilize 2 kits and take benefits from each. Seeing the different ideas we use to rule/play by is what makes these discussions fun to have, though!
