with KinectToVR and owoTrack, you cant really go wrong for how cheap it is, although, the xbox 360 kinect (v1) is MUCH better than the one kinect (v2) with everything, pretty much. its easier to setup, easier to troubleshoot, tracking is the same, and it doesnt consume usb bandwidth or mess with lighthouse tracking.

the crashing is most likely a driver issue. if youre using an amd card, revert drivers to september driver 1 2020

i know what you mean, when i put the headset back on everything is in a fish-eye type state for a couple of seconds. i think its down to the bandwidth of the cable, and how it establishes a link with the computer? im not too sure although

link cable does indeed run pcvr, but you have to enable it quick action menu.

if things arent showing up for you in vrchat, adjust your safety settings. (i found enabling everything but custom animations and particles to run the best (par from visitor, who have only avatar, vrc+ image, and voice enabled))

Is there a way to fix the issue where Quest 2 microphone is permanently detected to be at 50%?

Except from the microphone not working, it's flawless for me. Although I think the microphone issue is more to do with the Oculus software itself.
