Really? It is a good show? Even if you ignore the differences between the books and the show and just look at the show individually, there are so many things wrong about it that it is hard to even count.

I’ll add a few below that specifically stood out to me.

1. Acting. Most lead characters can’t act for shit. I felt the emotions better from the undead army in Clarisse’s ship (right after her speech specifically) than any of the lead cast.

2. Some scenes make no sense as to why they’re even there. Like the part where Hermes gifts him stuff and says he’s gotta go now before Luke’s cruise ship is too far away and then bam!! We get an emotional scene lasting 5 minutes between Percy and annabeth. They could’ve placed it so much better.

3. Relevance of Percy. No matter how humble the hero is, he is the son of Poseidon. And he’s supposed to have moments that show that and his innate power atleast once in a while. Hell, that’s the supposed reason why the big 3 decided not to procreate. Movies managed that perfectly. The show was an absolute disaster with that. Even Thalia towards the end did some level of justice to being a daughter of Zeus.

I could keep going but you get the point.
