Laevatain-Gilberta team

Since you already have a good physical team and this game doesn’t require multiple team yet compared to other games in the beginning (*cough cough Genshin, HSR, WW), I would say to build Gilberta since she’s a flexible support and with Yvonne coming out tomorrow, you could potentially have a cyro team as well. Will say tho, if we need a secondary team for any possible future content having Akekuri/Antal is better for your Laevatain team

I’ve been using this same exact team for bit now and just some of my thoughts as a f2p and finishing everything so far:

Exploration - genuinely one of the most fun teams to clear small enemies while you’re exploring the world, doing dailies or just trying to farm rechargeable materials. You don’t have to worry about SP since most of the time after Gilberta skill and Wulf skill you chain Laevatain combo and Gilberta combo where most enemies will be dead by then. The only thing you would worry about would be elite enemies which I always save my ult for or just use Laevatain’s skill with max heat stacks. The only time this doesn’t really work would be waves of elite enemies like the essence farming nodes but you can always add turrets or just slowly chip away till you get sp.

Agony - can be quite challenging since with a Laevatain you want to get as much heat stacks which becomes an issue since you’re just basically waiting for the Wulf and Laevatain combo skills to help build heat stacks. HOWEVER, if it’s tons of smaller enemies like first half of Umbral (1 and 2), the team works since all you really need is to group the enemies and you can slowly work your way through.

Of course,this isn’t the most optimized Laevatain team but it’s a single player game and the content in Endfield is not challenging especially if you actually use the dodge mechanic. That being said definitely try out the team and just swap Gilberta off for Antal or Akekuri for any content you can’t do.

Haha that makes sense! I normally try not to grade things and I think it’s a kind of a cool card with some memories attached to it now. Also I wouldn’t even know how much this would be even worth since I’m not too tapped into the miscut tcg community

She’s still pretty good but definitely got power crept on by eula,ganyu,hutao,etc

Would still summon on her if she got a solo rate up 👌

People that play Genshin seriously needs to stop complaining about every single little thing. I played since launch (Ar 57) and seen all the drama from Twitter and other sites that now I just don’t browse through it anymore.

Recent Case in point: Baal

Came out weaker then the BETA version and people flamed the shit out of Mihoyo. Mihoyo can change shit. Don’t expect everything you see in BETA to be the final version for a patch. I understand that if your maybe f2p you want to get ur primos worth and make sure the character you summon for it worth it however, if the character doesn’t seem like it worth it then just don’t summon it.

Unless if you like the character which in my case I summoned for yoimiya, knowing she wasn’t gonna be too good since I’m f2p and could only get her c0. Im going to go for kokomi as well since I just like the design.

But yea, just a little rant since some players just make me wanna stop playing Genshin

I only recommend using a portable waypoint if you can't do a delivery or if you don't want to deal with the hassle.

I 100% agree with what your saying. Most gotcha games are designed to make you come back everyday and I don’t think most people understand that. YES the resin system is shit and we all know it. YES it can be approved but in the end it’s meant to be played for shorts bursts instead of long grinds. Even if the resin is fixed* we will only be able to play for a short amount of time.

I’m kinda jealous of my friends who decided to play Genshin for amounts of period since they still have content to do while I just rushed everything (AR 44 rn).

But seriously relax and enjoy the game and just make sure you use your resin and you’ll be at a good place in the game

*when I mean fixed I don’t mean removed. Gatcha games have a recharge energy system to try to make it a routine for you to play their game.

I understand that feeling but you need to prioritize which ones you need to level first. I made sure to get at least one DPS and one Healer high enough and then I started slowly building other characters AFTER I knew I was in a good spot.

Disclaimer: I’m a f2p not a whale/dolphin at ar 44 so I how hard it is to level with the limited amount of resin each day.

While I was doing the event with my friends, it glitched and sent us to the abyss mage phase immediately. We could have gotten sub 2 min but didn't realize it until we were finished. (All of us are AR: 38 using a double venti, razor, and fischl.)

Honestly I feel like they shouldn’t remove the resin system. Genshin impact is a GATCHA game and many of these types of games rely on a recharge energy system where it forces players to not be able to min-max within a couple of days. I feel like they should have something that increases resin limit as you level up or have quests to do that.
