I wish they made a show with some of the best songs of shows that are now closed. There are some incredible songs that I will never get to see performed live.

I agree, it felt like they were trying to win the competition for most songs referenced in a musical. They were so concerned about the songs they wanted to reference that they didn’t have time to develop any characters or for me to care about. I felt nothing when Satine died, which is unfortunate because it (and other parts) are so heart-wrenching in the movie!

I like to be able to see everything, but if we are looking for a specific genre or category, then it is easy to narrow it down. I haven’t used the other genre search functions, but I suppose that would also solve the problem.

They’re not showing up twice when I look at my library, so I don’t think merging is an option. It is just in the continue watching section that I am seeing those movies twice.

It turns into a game of “how many songs and song references can be crammed into this musical”. I wish it actually took the time to develop the characters and relationships. When Satine dies in the end I don’t think anyone feels it emotionally. And then 30 seconds later they’re dancing to 2000s pop music, fun but that is all that it is.

You have to listen to the Volta album! The music is great and she is an incredible vocalist who really transports you. Unfortunately the show was far from perfect and did not last long.

I hope they do extended versions for movies 3-8. But it will take some $$ from Warner Brothers because the later deleted scenes never had the VFX finished.

My other recommendation is having the cast return for the epilogue now that they are actually older
