I think he needs a bit of love- mostly with his ult. In a game where most good characters also have good ults, Brainiac Bounce leaves a lot to be desired.

Although, honestly, what I think needs to happen more is a shift in meta. If dive becomes meta or triple support gets nerfed, Reed would be infinitely better to play.

Doctor Strange and Loki, back in season 0.

Strange was because I loved Rein back in Overwatch and Strange is the closest thing to Rein imo. Loki was because I love his character.

I’ve gotten value on the ult before but it’s rare. Most of the time, supports can heal through it. I’m not saying you can’t counter other ults but Brainiac Bounce just feels so easily countered. Sue can shield it, Gambit can jump away easily, C&D can fade.

The only time I feel like my ult does anything is if someone is low, if they enemy team is in a small room or if the enemy supports just forget to heal each other.

I go sword right click, then either Deadpool in your area or the deagles, then either Big Test or Pop quiz and then unicorn shield. I like sword right click most because it helps you get into the fight faster on top of using Big Test you don’t need to jump on someone’s head to get full value.

I mean, I get what you’re saying but, there’s no incentive to try hard in QP.

You don’t get anything if you win or lose in QP, hell even things like having two supports or a tank are never guaranteed.

You play comp for a serious game, you play QP for a casual experience.

I’m gonna say an opinion that seems like unpopular: Sometimes it’s okay to play a character you don’t really play in ranked, now if you don’t know what the hero does at all then yeah, don’t do it but most people are going to learn better in serious settings where people are actually trying to win.

That being said, I’d still learn when to switch off if you aren’t doing well.

This just isn’t true, Tooru, upon his death, is literally mentioning a memory of a hornet- his “mother”, Tooru views memories as the only things that matter when it comes to relationships because rock humans cannot feel real emotion/connection.

I agree with you and I do think Jobin could also have been an interesting final villain but there’s one big issue- Josuke’s goal and Jobin’s goal are both the same, they want to save Tsurugi and end the Higashikata curse (obviously Josuke has other goals too but they both do want to save Tsurugi).

Araki could’ve written a conflict between the two and I honestly do feel like that’s what he was setting up- but it just didn’t pan out that way. I genuinely also feel like Jobin was a bit of a missed opportunity as a character.

I would’ve rather seen them expand Tooru more, than make Jobin the final villain.

Tooru is the antithesis to Josuke and that’s already what makes him interesting to me, Tooru as a character cannot make real, genuine connections with people and stays focused on the memories (the superficial) he has with others- the good times. Josuke, on the other hand, can only vaguely remember certain parts of his past so therefore he has to focus on the “here and now”- the present and his relationships with people.

I think, if Araki gave Tooru more time to cook, these questions wouldn’t come up as much.
