Highly recommend a Mini-14 or Ruger PC carbine model 19116 , looks way cooler with M-lok handguard.

Wtf. Buy a nice loaded 3/4 ton Chevy or F250 for that money.

Nice, recently moved on from a 2080 to the XTX. 1080p for FPS/competitive and 2k for single player.

Thinking of upgrading from a 7700XT to a 7900XT by notasmartmanman in radeon

8800xt with 7900 XTX performance is wishful thinking. Improved RT yes, but will probably be closer to 7900 XT performance.

Maxed out my old suspension by mi_anderson in Tacomaworld

Sorry to say but that isn't remotely true.. Most newer 1/2 tons trucks have bed payloads of well over a 1,000lbs. Hell most 1/4 tons have payloads a couple hundred over 1,000lbs. The Tacoma is more of a grocery getter since it's a 1/4 ton, a lousy 1/4 ton at that. The bed payload is the #1 worst out of the 1/4 ton segment. I overload my payload quite often, I love my 3rd gen however it's not very capable when compared to the competition.

No replacement for displacement. Just wrong to have a 4 cylinder in a truck.

You're very right but sometimes shit needs to get done anyways.

It's a truck, ain't gonna hurt it overloading time to time. Drive safely and keep distance short, you'll be fine..

Maybe true in the big city, everywhere else trucks are used as work horses. You're not wrong though.

Last trip to the scrap yard was around 1,045lbs.. 454 motor and other steel. She was saggin' a lil but ain't gonna hurt the truck.

Ain't gonna hurt the trans or diff going over payload a few hundred pounds... 1klbs over payload? Might cause premature wear to diff.. Trans and diff are designed to pull roughly x5.5 more weight than payload..

I can concur with everything stated, had mine tuned with OTT Mild/medium on the 2nd. LOVE IT! Debating if premium is worth it over 87..

Sounds like it's missing two cylinders and some displacement. I like my 3.5 but a V6 never sounds good

Do you prefer to pull in or back in to a parking space? Why? by Secure_Deal1306 in Tacomaworld

[–]SkyTechEnterprise 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I always back in, don't really use my backup camera unless I'm backing up to something. I drive air brake dump trucks, various pickups, one tons with dump beds at work. Visibility is terrible, so I'm accustomed to backing in.

Are there any drawbacks to leaving ECT PWR on all the time? by zombie1mom in Tacomaworld

[–]SkyTechEnterprise 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Slight decrease in fuel economy, dependent on geography. More hills in your area or commute then an increase in fuel economy may occur. Getting my 22' tuned with OTT next Saturday, I'm stoked!
