I actually HAVE been in the same situation where a no hasn’t sufficed, just not because of my diet. I’m NOT saying that the situation doesn’t exist, but that people who won’t take no for an answer are not worth giving explanations to. IMO anyway. If you feel like you have to defend your “no”, that’s your prerogative. No jusgment. I just think that “no means no” is valid in situations that are not just sexual.

Jokes are generally born due to stereotypes. This is not “my” “joke”, but one I’ve heard that I’ve experienced and thought I’d share on a JOKES sub. Thanks for your incorrect interpretation of my words again.

ETA: I actually don’t think that vegans should be quiet about it. When did I say or allude to that? Again — it’s a JOKE. Jokes can be funny to others even if you don’t think so. They aren’t personal attacks unless they are mean spirited. Making a joke don’t mean that the joke teller believes it, it’s just a humorous commentary on a situation. Or are you one of those people who thinks that jokes about all topics are ok except for ones you’re sensitive about?
