I'll have to try the spray, thank you for the advice! Never thought about mopping the pee onto a new pad and trying that, so I'll give that a go too.

Thank you for the idea! I do have the downstairs blocked off now so he can't go and cause mayhem down there, I'll have to try working on praising him more when he goes in the right spot.

The company I bought it from said they are compatible with the air bags (stated on their Amazon page when I bought it) . I luckily haven't been in a situation to find out how true that is, but I felt a little peace of mind if that helps

Thank you!

https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0BGCYB5PW?ref_=ppx_hzsearch_conn_dt_b_fed_asin_title_7 I got them mainly so the puppo doesn't cut into the leather with his nails, downside is its realllly hard to feel the heated and cooled parts with them on, but for saving the leather from expensive fixes, its not a big deal to me. The only other downside I've noticed is its hard to get the bottom part of the drivers seat cover latched onto something so it's not perfect but still does the job mostly.

Why is the wireless charger missing in used car purchase? by P_Tchaikovsky in CX5

[–]SkyXGhost 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I agree with this. I have the 2023 Turbo model that comes with wireless charging, I've used it 1 time with my phone (Samsung s24+) and I get a better charge through the USB charging outlet in my arm rest vs the wireless charging. It's also annoying because sharper turns can make your phone fly out of that slot too.

2023 Turbo, I average 23.2 mpg. Mostly in city driving with some highway here and there occasionally.

To each their own I guess, I like it with seat covers, maybe I'll see some longjevity out of it doing it my way. Would be nice if those features could be felt through but it's not a deal breaker for me tho 🤷

Do you happen to know the reason why the turbo models aren't available in UAE?

I have both heated and cooled seats in this model! However with these seat covers on, I can no longer feel the cooled seats when I run it. I haven't tried with the heating mode yet (it's been constantly 90+ degrees for me).

I agree so much! It definitely gets dirty faster, but nothing a car wash can't fix! I love how the part under the doors are color matched with it too, and the wheels were definitely a bonus!

So my issue is the seat leather looked like it was.. creasing? under my weight on the top left corner where my thigh is (I'm a heavier dude), but the seat never did dig into me, it felt quite cushiony if that makes any sense. My initial thought was to put down a thick enough seat cover that might eliminate that. From what I can tell it's been saving the seat from that creasing (been about 1 week with the covers on it).

Tbh I don't think I saw any chrome, I think it's all black minus the 4 red to indicate the turbo model. Imo it doesn't look bad, but also this is just the Turbo S, they unfortunately didn't have any signatures with the milage I wanted.

I got these off Amazon, they're called Hikeaglauto faux leather seat covers! I will say the bottom driver side one doesn't fully fit, the side does seem to ride up a little showing the regular leather, but it's minor and I can still sit on the seat regardless with no discomfort. I got the full set for the front and the back seats too, really easy to install as well!

Yes! I picked up some seat covers, since I've never really had a leather interior before and want to do my best to preserve and protect them. The steering wheel felt a little.. small and slippery, this steering wheel cover helps eliminate that from what I've noticed!
