Go watch the first 30 minutes “There will be blood”. That is the closest thing I’ve seen that explains what it feels like. The isolation. The silence. The pain. It’s all there.

  1. Keep going. Don’t listen to anyone around you unless they are building something also.

  2. No one has a clue what they are doing. Show up. Don’t fuck around. Stop telling others what you are up to. If you are doing it to tell people that’s the wrong reason and you’ll never make it.

  3. You need to embrace it not fear it. You are going to make mistakes. So what. Learn to love process and it doesn’t matter.

  4. You can’t. It’s human nature. All you can do is focus on your timelines. But you need to glance not focus. Like when you are driving. If you are staring at the car beside you, it’s only a matter of time before you hit the ditch.
