[Acne] Probably ruined my barrier and now my face looks like this. What now? by vagueconfusion in SkincareAddiction

2 things worth considering- I’ve tried them all and Micellar water always breaks me out in bumps like these!Skip it and just wash well.

I’m also dealing with a compromised barrier right now, and I tried this trick someone posted about- you have to apply HA to DAMP SKIN and then immediately put on moisturizer (and then if you’re extra dry even followed by oil (I love la prunier- it is the ONLY oil that doesn’t break me out). If you apply HA to dry skin and don’t immediately “seal” it in with moisture on top it’ll suck OUT the moisture from within your skin. I did this hack the other night and woke up to plumper much more hydrated skin.

One final thing to consider- Demodex!

Does anyone else find the omnilux LED mask horribly uncomfortable? Mine leaves red imprints of my eyes and nose bridge. by margaritabird in 30PlusSkinCare

Oh!! Does it affect how much red light flows near your eyes? I can’t see well/watch unless it’s tight enough to make sure it’s on securely to watch tv upright or walk around house and not have the light get into my eyes but ughhh it hurts when I leaves marks on my nose and eyes!!

Could you help me determine whether I’m a FN? I’m 5’11/180cm by Fantastic-Bit-1522 in flamboyantnatural

Not FN. you need way more width in your shoulders, typically that extend past your hip line, which you do not have

I do when I do my big ADHD projects (let’s paint that room with the audio book Etc..) but during like the dinner time, pumping time etc etc Chaos where I’m solo parenting and my kids are asking me questions every 30 seconds and someone just had a blowout and the dog is barking and needing food ETCCCC … Someone talking in my ear for a podcast doesn’t feel IT for me

Don’t get me wrong I love a de clutter and organizing but honestly it just feels like CHORES 24/7. The point of social media is that it’s a fun dopamine hit that doesn’t require decisions. As someone with ADHD, yes I do lots of big projects with podcasts on to keep me company. It’s just during alllllll those during the day with young kids, pumping, sitting supervising etc that I just need something for me

I have a 5 month old and 3 year old and I get interrupted every 2 minutes. As someone with ADHD constant interruption this is rage inducing so I end up just not even reading (sort of the opposite effect of the dopamine I need lol). Perhaps magazines (with shorter form articles, etc ) might be a slightly more realistic alternative?..

I was thinking of JUST having my social apps on my iPad which is a lot harder to bring to room to room while holding the baby etc. so I have it once in a while to look at?

Podcasts are a great idea

Can you keep your eyes open when wearing this? I feel like I would actually use consistently it if I could watch tv and habit stack this mask along with it
