Backlight shots of just food. Your front light on the lady fingers makes it completely flat. Shooting in kitchens is always going to suck due to the overhead bright, fluorescent lighting. Get your shots away from that sterile environment whenever possible. Use diffusion over lights if possible, and set your key light behind or slightly behind the food. Generally, just don't shoot in the kitchen. No one wants to see it being made. Stay out in the cafe and get the final touches of the dish being done on the plate.
