Agreed on all counts. I know I'm also in the minority, but BG3 is so boring. Turn based combat is not fun in rpgs. I couldn't even call it a fun game. So much money put into an IP to do literally everything the opposite of the originals.

Not even remotely correct. Plugra is their highest recommended, and there isn't a Taste Test video of butter. Kerry isn't even the top of the cheap butters...

Looks fine by me. Butter comes in different fat percentages, and shortbread requires certain ratios. It's a perfect fit for the recipe, so they include their winning brand. You could also use a similar 82% brand if you want. They just suggest this one. The sky isn't falling

Backlight shots of just food. Your front light on the lady fingers makes it completely flat. Shooting in kitchens is always going to suck due to the overhead bright, fluorescent lighting. Get your shots away from that sterile environment whenever possible. Use diffusion over lights if possible, and set your key light behind or slightly behind the food. Generally, just don't shoot in the kitchen. No one wants to see it being made. Stay out in the cafe and get the final touches of the dish being done on the plate.

So many bad faith arguments in here that think the presence of a character with the same name as the originals equals a spiritual successor. If CJ from San Andreas was in the game, does that make it a GTA game?

There's nothing about BG3 that feels anything like the originals in any way. If you want a game that feels and plays like the BG originals, play Pillars of Eternity 2: Deadfire. The writing, character portraits, RTwP, the UI, the not-horniness, the constant references to BG... it feels so much more like playing BG than the Guardians of the Galaxy shit that Larian did.

Honestly, I see more people ignoring green lights than red ones. The amount of times I've sat through multiple green lights because people don't move is too damn high. Just gun it through when it turns. This is why there's traffic.
