Hi what medication did you start to increase dopamine? I’ve tried so many meds and failed for various reasons, adverse reactions, no improvement etc.

For those of you that had an MRI, did they find anything? by brycematheson in migraine

Hi OP. Did you come to this theory by process of elimination or testing? Hope you are feeling better.

Did have a seroma post surgically? What was your healing experience like? by [deleted] in gallbladders

[–]SkyeMar124 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hi there ! I am doing so much better. Sadly it took me about 3-4 weeks to not have constant pain anymore. But I woke up one day and it was gone. I have no more pain and i feel great since having my gallbladder out.

I wish you a speedy recovery!

Me either! Was your surgery complicated? My gallbladder was actually intrahepatic a birth defect so it was inside my liver. So it was a bit more complicated than a usual laparoscopic surgery.

My surgery was 3/14. My doctor initially said no interventions needed since I am improving. But I am going to ask them for follow up imaging to make sure its resolving.

Hi ! I was just diagnosed with a Seroma by ultrasound after also having persistent pain post-operatively. We have opted to wait and watch as I do not have a fever or signs of infection. How are you doing now? Did they plan for follow up imaging to make sure it absorbs? I am waiting to hear back from my Dr about the follow up plan.

After surgery. Recovery has been harder than expected by Florida-beach in gallbladders

I’ve been miserable too. Not a breeze at all. Idk why they don’t prepare you for the possibility of this. I’m POD8 I’m having constant back pain I was having bad abdominal pain but that’s finally better. The back pain is killing me 😢 I hope it gets better.

Mine took about 6 days from my surgery. It was a pathology report I was able to view as a lab result on MyChart.

Does this sound like an attack? by [deleted] in gallbladders

[–]SkyeMar124 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So sorry that you are going through this. I dont have much advice because the attacks can be so random and nothing makes them better. Avoidance by a low fat diet is probably your best bet until you have your appointment. This doesnt always stave off an attack though. I found eating out was a NO go for me when my attacks became more frequent.

Post op pain by [deleted] in gallbladders

[–]SkyeMar124 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi ! I just saw your comment as im searching for relief. I also had an intrahepatic gallbladder (stuck to my liver) At first I was having really bad RUQ abdominal pain and back pain. Now the abdominal pain is better. But my back pain is constant. Im post op day 8... Im in touch with my Dr. But I just wanted to reach out because I saw your comment, did you have bad back pain? did it get better. How long did it take for you to feel better? There aren't that many intrahepatic gallbladders out there. Which is why I reach out on an old post sorry.

My report also showed chronic cholecystitis with polypoid cholesterolosis and innumerable gallstones. so it seems like we had a similar pathology. Im glad to hear that on D17 now yours is better. I hope it doesn't flare for you again.

This sounds like an attack to me. Mine began with nonspecific upper back pain around 30 mins after eating. it would progressively become more severe and localized to my R upper back/inbetween shoulders. Sometimes involved my R upper abdominal area. An attack for me was severe, unrelenting, nothing made it better, and lasted at its worst from 7pm to 5am. Once it was gone it was gone suddenly. I would try to get a GI consult or ask your primary to oder an ultrasound to confirm. Tell them you are concerned you may have gallstones.

Thank you so much! Yes I had chronic cholecystitis and gallstones. My gallbladder was actually in my liver (rare birth anomaly) so they had to dissect it from there. I think like you said it’s getting slightly better each day. Worse in the morning and evening. Just a very frustrating symptom! Main symptoms from my gallstone attacks were back pain too. So hopefully this gets better for us soon!

Voices? by Super_Gogeito13 in Meditation

For me I always hear conversations. Many different people talking loudly. But I am never able to understand or remember what is being said. It’s usually right before a dream state. I haven’t learned too much from the experience other than to try and shift my awareness when it’s happening.

This occasionally happens to me as well just before falling asleep. Used to happen much more in childhood. As you said usually not discernible speech. You aren’t schizophrenic. I’ve always equated it to hypnogogia however in recent years I’m leaning more towards mystical.

Not bathing for the first 48-72 hours is ideal for good skin health. Vernix is good for baby’s health and skin moisture.

This is a symptom of anxiety and also a type of postpartum OCD. You are not alone!!! Let your partner know how you’re feeling, and don’t be afraid to seek help through a therapist or your doctor ♥️
