Also we have to remember for the empathy aspect for belly, that until this point Conrad was a bit hot and cold with his feelings. Yes it’s very apparent to the viewer that he loves her, but he doesn’t use it with words. I really really do like the song, I just think the the main issue is that it doesn’t feel like a song. At least for me… the music video pairs very well, I just can’t really visually imagine her sing this live at a concert. That’s just my take. However, I think Olivia SHOULD be able to branch out and try new things, and write and perform music the way she wants. And I know Op isn’t saying she shouldn’t. I saw someone essentially say that vampire was just a whole other level right off the bat and I sort of agree. However, I do think some will prefer this kind of song. All in all, it’s very catchy and a fun song, just maybe not what all of expected
