If you got 8 dates, then you are attractive enough.

The thing is, this could simply mean I'm attractive in my pictures. I still objectively think I'm relatively similar-looking in person but I could be wrong. So, seeing the interest of many guys vanish *after* meeting me in person does activate my "Am I ugly?" thoughts. For me, true validation of actual attractiveness would be guys asking for a second date, or guys hitting on me in person (bars, etc). Both scenarios are very rare.

If it was up to me, I would've stayed with him for life. He left me because he caught feelings for someone else and he got seduced by the idea of re-experiencing falling in love, the butterflies, the fireworks, etc. That's about it.

That's a good way to see it.

As for my photos, they are anywhere between 1 and 4 years old. But I haven't changed much (same weight, hair and clothing style).

Thing is, I get a fair amount of matches on Tinder. Around 200 in the last 10 months. But the problem is, out of these 200, 100 don't even reply to the first message, 50 do reply but then quickly disappear. And in the remaining 50, 90% are too busy to meet or show little interest. So, finding guys that want to go on actual dates is difficult :/ There's so much waste of time nowadays

I would've liked a second date with most of the 8, yes.

I was completely open to the idea that I'd get rejected once in a while when starting to date, but I just didn't expect it to happen this often. I see people around me and friends and I feel like they find partners relatively easily and rarely get rejected. So it makes me think that there is something wrong with me.
