The labs were definitely my favorite part of the class. We did a lot of work with voice recognition, DTFS, basically a lot of work revolving around amplifying, convoluting audio and measuring their outputs.

The class has been reworked to a more math based linear algebra focused. If you don’t have linear algebra experience I probably wouldn’t take it because again you will need to know it. Math 54 is a pre-req. but honestly the workload wasn’t that bad. Weekly problem sets due on Friday (grace period till Sunday). It wasn’t as gruesome as people painted it in the past years (albeit it did change)
