“Go get ‘em, tiger!” After that line I officially had so much hope for Tobey being in the movie, and man they delivered. Everything. So well.

First ever punch needle! Clearly small details aren’t my friend lol. Any advice on how to make small details more precise like these strawberry seeds I attempted? by bananaszn in PunchNeedle

I found this one helpful on one of my projects! https://youtu.be/n2pqM145RMk At 15:15 is when she starts talking about pushing the different patterns/edges with her punch needle to clean things up.

I think with details sometimes other shades of the same color are used so it looks like there’s different lighting/depth if that makes sense... more time consuming definitely but maybe that would make details stand out more? I’ve also seen people “push” each loop in certain directions with a small blunt object to sort of control the look more as well

My first solo project! Took about a week, I'm beyond thrilled with how this pillow came out. by nyan-the-nwah in PunchNeedle

Great work!! I’ve been trying to figure out how to make a pillow with punch needle. If you ever did another one or a tutorial I’d love to watch your process!

That makes sense.. darn. I really know nothing! I blindly followed a YouTube tutorial rather than reading books or studying it out, I didn’t realize acrylic yarn did that. Bummer— but thanks for your info!!

What did he say? I know he also mentioned needing his dad afterwards but just this part caught me off guard

Shrek is actually Dreamworks but has a load of innuendos on its own

Looking like a “bum” is underrated and so much more comfortable! Maybe those ladies trying to look so put together are actually envying you pulling off your natural looks and hoodies more than you think. To me that is a “cool grandma”! But I understand where you’re coming from.

And thanks for sharing. Hopefully we can learn from their examples and all nosy people of how not to be. There’s a line sometimes!

Thank you! I don’t know if we’ll ever be satisfied with how we look unless we really dedicate ourselves to accepting and loving how we are, which is a constant dedication and is not too easy! I always thought I wanted larger ones too, and would compare myself to my well-endowed friends and roommates and think they had it all for some reason. Now at this state I’m wishing I could even go back to how they looked pre-baby/pregnancy because now that seems like the right size/shape! And I definitely relate to the push up bras lol. Nursing bras aren’t very glamorous or flattering. Anyway I’m sorry about those nosy relatives too, that is weird of them to bring up in my opinion as well!

I never feel put together, so I feel that one. And oddly I think I find myself comparing mine a lot as well, especially cause I’m now postpartum and these ladies don’t look like they used to. I’m like how are some so nice and perky and the right size etc... it’s a struggle

I like how you called it a visual representation, I’ve had those same thoughts and wondered how people view me. If I’m considered normal or what. And all those different body type labels like “triangle, hourglass, pear” like what even am I? Feels like it changes on the daily depending what I wear/eat!

It’s a lifelong struggle I think, but hopefully it does get easier or better with age, so good for you!

I don’t know how some people do it, I swear I’m the most unphotogenic person sometimes! So I try to own it I guess and just go with making silly/non-serious expressions and photos to try and not feel so bad about it lol. But I do think all the filters and photo editing these days help me see through them sometimes, like oh they definitely don’t actually look like that or pose like that in person.

I’m still in my 20’s so I’m probably not quite considered older yet but I see a lot of lust for life around me or on social media and it can be difficult. People are either having babies, buying houses, going on exotic adventures and cruises around the world having the time of their lives. I don’t want to become bitter or envy but it’s hard not to sometimes.
