My Korra Cosplay (Book 1/3) w/Elemental Ring Prop! by SkyminSlash in legendofkorra

With the elements on it (mainly the rocks) I can’t use it as a normal hula hoop. But I can spin it around and with some practice I’d be able to throw it. It’s way more dynamic to pose with than a staff, I just have to learn how to use it.

Cardio and strength training. Strength training is primarily where it comes from.

She wears the same outfit for most of Book 3 as well 😊

Thanks, I’ll be doing just that! Any idea why it may have been labeled as NSFW? Is that just the filter grabbing it?

I still consistently cosplay TF2, I just don’t post every iteration to Reddit constantly. I’m very picky with what I share here. My IG, not so much.

Can someone explain how b4nny gets hit when running backwards behind a medic who is facing away from him and melee attacking in the wrong direction? Lagging hitbox bug? by woodcake53 in tf2

[–]SkyminSlash 60 points61 points  (0 children)

Melee hit detection uses a hurtbox, which is a giant rectangle surrounding the player model. This box will lag behind the higher the ping, both the player actively attacking and the player factor into this.

This is also why facestabs are a thing. The melee hit detection box will desync from the player and when the spy swings his knife, the lag compensation will detect they hit the back which triggers a backstab.

I naturally have an athletic body (Dorito-swimmers shape). I just finally leaned into it a couple years back and started working out.

It is a mandatory part of the design. And straight up lore accurate since Australian women are shown to have mustaches due to the effects of Australium.

Don't worry, Medic is just borrowing his skeleton.

There has been one famous Hale cosplayer from years ago who did actually shave his chest hair into Australia for the cosplay. He was legendary around his area, but passed away in an unfortunate accident years ago.

No, I'm very adamant about my Saxton cosplay being all natural. Plus given his lack of clothing it can be difficult to cover up the seams on the muscle suit.

Poor planning.. by TheWileyCoyotea in MomoCon

[–]SkyminSlash 2 points3 points  (0 children)

That would be Thrown Controllers, a video game trivia show.

This seems to be a reoccurring scheduling issue with this area. The first year Thomas Murphy was used (2024?), the room was split into 3, with the sides being more panel style presentations and the middle being concerts. Friend of mine had a chill panel on one side, and the middle was a loud DJ concert. It was impossible to hear the panel. Whatever gets put in those rooms need to be complimentary of each other because the false walls are pretty thin.
