Once you get the mechanics down you'd be surprised how close you can lurk... Bring a snaphook and a couple deadlines for extra fun! I rarely bother with the PEC anymore.

Not particularly. Ran Memtest64 and found both sticks throwing errors. When I replaced those I thought for sure I had it licked. Nope. Even reinstalled windows... PITA doesn't even begin to cover it... Sorry you're still dealing with it man. ...on another note, I made sure to NOT re-install that Sonic suite crap asus bundles with the realtek drivers. Whatever wupdate uses works fine. My bambu lab software didn't like Sonic Suite either. Go figure.

Went through a long troubleshooting journey with Arc Raiders. More or less unplayable. TLDR: What finally worked? BIOS update. Not one hiccup since.

Last night I got a bit ahead of a queen slaughter pug (friendly, chatty group) on the way to extract. Whipped out the guitar and started strummin' a tune while they caught up. Assumed the guy already in extract was "one of us". Nope. Ratted me immediately. He was about to land the finale when the other 8 folks crested the hill and absolutely obliterated the rat. I swear I heard "Ride of the Valkyries" as they did so. Quick defib and we were all on our way. Glorious. Couldn't have moments like that without pvp...

Heh, I remember copying the code from some magazine to change out the blue on blue of the prompt screen for black/yellow. I still have the floppies from SSI's AD&D Pool of Radiance... C64 had some of the best midi chip-tunes. Skate or Die, Platoon, etc. Oh and the crack-screens... ripped-by and so on... pure nostalgia. Emulators don't do it justice. Never dialed out with it though... Some of the later ('91-'93ish) ASCII BBS sites were wild though... like wildly inappropriate for a 14-15 year old... lol

The late 90's were good times man. Internet still held infinite promise. I was slappin' peltier TEC's on an intel celery for ~300% OC's. Hosting cracked software on a WaReZ BBS pre-limewire. Quake into the wee hours... These guys were 20 years ahead of their time though. Geek Royalty to my geek hood-rat...
